Hasbro Reveals More Upcoming Toys for Release of Solo: A Star Wars Story

Hasbro keeps churning out fun toys for each of the Star Wars releases in this new Disney era. With each new movie we’ve gotten some great stuff with their figure releases, their board games, interactive toys, lightsabers, and nerf guns. The new Han Solo movie doesn’t look to break that trend.

Last week we got a glimpse at some of the figures and the new Millenium Falcon that are going to be released. Today, we’ve got cool new stuff including additions to the Bladebuilders line and a Han Solo Nerf Glowstrike blaster. My personal favorite looks to be Ultimate Co-pilot Chewie. A cute and fun looking miniature Cewbacca doll that reacts to your movements and sounds.

Check out the images and description of the new release below.

With signature Wookiee-talk back interaction, the ULTIMATE CO-PILOT CHEWIE responds to external movements and sounds. Make a noise and the ULTIMATE CO-PILOT CHEWIE will roar back! Fans can enjoy everything from naptime to pretending to fly with their Wookiee sidekick. The ULTIMATE CO-PILOT CHEWIE features poseable legs and can respond with a variety of facial expressions for fun surprises. Includes iconic bandolier and satchel. SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY NERF GLOWSTRIKE HAN SOLO Blaster

(Ages 6 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $29.99/Available: Spring 2018)

Every smuggler needs a NERF GLOWSTRIKE HAN SOLO Blaster! Features a 4-dart internal clip with light and sound effects inspired by the movie to fire darts up to 70 feet away. Keep the fun going from day to dusk with GLOWSTRIKE technology light effects and glow-in-the-dark darts. Includes 4 Elite GLOWSTRIKE darts. Requires 1 AA battery, included. Available at most major retailers.

Hasbro is also releasing some new figures in their MightyMuggs line. These are those cartoonish looking figures with the three different expressions you can swap out on the face. Hasbro sent us a couple of these (keep your eyes peeled for a future contest giveaway in our future) and my kids were instantly mesmerized by the carousel of expressions. I’d wager a guess these will make some great small gifts for the younger fans out there.

Stay Tuned to SWNN as we’ll have our own John Hoey at the NYC Toy Fair this weekend and will bring you any news that comes out of that event.

That Chewie looks nice, but $129? Also, isn’t he wearing a double bandolier in the movie? Maybe he changes during the film..

IDK, something about that Chewie doesn’t look movie accurate.

It is so surprising that Star Wars toy sales are down with these magnificent examples of merchandise.
