Hot Toys Reveal Imperial Praetorian Guard from ‘The Mandalorian’
First displayed at their Summer Showcase event last month, Hot Toys today revealed the full details of their Imperial Praetorian Guard from the climatic episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3.
Showcasing the new figure on Facebook, the Hong Kong based manufacturer wrote:

Clad in ornate crimson armor, the Imperial Praetorian Guards are elite warriors of the Shadow Council ready to meet any threat with a savage response. Their red armor was a deliberate echo of that worn by Emperor Palpatine’s royal protectors.
Continuing to expand Hot Toys’ collectibles line-up inspired by the latest season of The Mandalorian live action series, Hot Toys is pleased to present the new 1/6th Imperial Praetorian Guard collectible figure!
The highly-accurate collectible figure features a skillfully crafted helmet, body armor, and outfit, a specially applied glossy red colored painting on armor, the character’s unique chain whip and heavy blade weapons, and a figure display stand!

The figure comes with all three weapons the guards were seen using in The Mandalorian, allowing collectors to pick their favorite or even buy three to display a complete set of guards. Though I’m not sure many collectors will be buying three at this scale and price point, there’s no denying that they look extremely impressive together and, one or three, the Imperial Praetorian Guard pairs nicely with the recently revealed Season 3 Moff Gideon, Paz Vizsla, or even IG-12 and Grogu to recreate some of the climatic moments of The Mandalorian’s latest season.
As cool as this reveal is, it wasn’t the one I was expecting from Hot Toys this morning given they teased Sabine Wren last Tuesday!
Hot Toys have teased that they have big plans for Ahsoka so hopefully we’ll get the full reveal of their Sabine figure soon. Of course there are still some Mandalorian figures in the pipeline that we’ve seen on display over the summer conventions, like these Praetorian Guards, so maybe we’ll have to wait a little longer before the Ahsoka onslaught begins. Hot Toys can be hard to predict.
