‘Star Wars’ Celebration Returns to London in April 2023
During the closing ceremony of Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm announced that the convention will be happening again next year, and it will be returning to London, at the ExCel Exhibition Centre. It will coincide with the 40-year anniversary of Return of the Jedi, which came out May 25th, 1983, in the US, and June 2nd in the UK. Star Wars Celebration London 2023 will happen April 7-10, 2023.
This will be the fourth Star Wars Celebration that takes place in Europe, and the third in London. The last time it took place there was in 2016. At the time, Lucasfilm was only promoting Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but next year they will have plenty of projects to focus on.
By the time it arrives, The Mandalorian season 3 will have already aired (currently aiming for a February 2023 release), while Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew will be in the pipeline. They might even release Ahsoka right around the time for Celebration. The Acolyte will also be either mid-filming or have wrapped already, so Lucasfilm will probably have a big focus on that too.
