‘Star Wars’ Celebration: ‘Mando+: A Conversation With Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni’ Panel Recap

As the third day of Star Wars Celebration kicks off, so does the “Mando+: A Conversation with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni” panel. Starting at 11am PT, the description says the executive producers of The Mandalorian will take “a look back and a look ahead at what’s to come.”

Lucky Star Wars Celebration attendees already had the chance to watch the two of them briefly talk about the third season of the show, and take a look at a two-minute teaser for the third season during Thursday’s “Lucasfilm’s Studio Showcase Panel”.

As we head into Saturday’s panel, we wouldn’t be surprised if Favreau and Filoni also had some surprises about the new Ahsoka series, which was barely mentioned on Thursday. After all, it’s called “Mando+”, and if The Book of Boba Fett taught us something, it’s that all of these shows are basically one overarching story.

Our own James Baney is inside the room, live-tweeting what is being discussed in the panel through the StarWarsNewsNet Twitter account, and we will be updating this article with his tweets. Miguel Fernández is a Spanish student that has movies as his second passion in life. His favorite movie of all time is The Lord of the Rings, but he is also a huge Star Wars fan. However, fantasy movies are not his only cup of tea, as movies from Scorsese, Fincher, Kubrick or Hitchcock have been an obsession for him since he started to understand the language of filmmaking. He is that guy who will watch a black and white movie, just because it is in black and white.
