Hmm.. Young Luke Origin story = Obi Wan movie….
Young Luke origin story:
A New Hope
The Empire Strikes Back
Return Of The Jedi.
Obi Wan movie…
Episodes 1-3
The Clone Wars animated series
It would be interesting to see what Obi Wan is doing in the mean time (if he even did something on that dustball lol). I mean Ewan has the perfect age, if they do it right they can make a nice transition movie between the PT and OT. But I totally understand the point that its not needed.
Most folks’ main reason for wanting to see an Obi-Wan movie seems to be that McGregor would be about the right age. I get that. It would be cool. But that alone is not a reason for make a movie. We already have a ton of Obi-Wan backstory; second only to Anakin. Let it be. I like the idea that he spent his 20-year term on Tatooine meditating and watching over Luke. Let’s not clutter that up with some dumb dispute with Jabba’s goons or whatever other ideas seem to be floating around out there. Most of those ideas would make much better comic books than feature films.
Re: Carrie
Every time I see Hamill & cast on stage, I notice Carrie missing.
