Walmart Listed The Force Awakens Blu-ray for Pre-Order
Stitchkingdom reports that for a couple of days Walmart were taking pre-orders for The Force Awakens Blu-ray.
Today they removed the offer but you can still see the product page. The picture above could be a Walmart exclusive cover for the Blu-ray, or just a stand in.

It’s also probably likely that when an official announcement does come down, it may come through an online outlet via timed exclusive, such as EW’s coverage of Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur.

Looks nice as a cover, but I’m going to flip out if its not the style of the previous Episode films. Stand alone films like Rogue One can have the unique standout look, but I need my collection to remain in the same style 😉
but thats never gonna happen, they gonna keep changing all covers down the line ( have u tried it with the james bond films ?) best is to find cool custom made covers so u can have a consistant collection

Looks great I think. There are so many options. The standard theatrical poster version, Kylo Ren or Rey. BB8 also looks awesome and a bit different. I don’t really mind which one.

Still waiting for news of 3D Blu-ray
Maybe they’ve run out of those little red and blue, cardboard 3D glasses.
You’re gonna be waiting a while. I don’t think Disney is a big fan of 3D Blu-ray (which, like most home video 3D, is often shite by the way).
There may be several versions of the cover featuring different characters, as well as the main cover that is more what we would expect.

I’m sure many stores will have their own exclusives as with any SW release. You’ll have too look at all the choices when they are revealed and decide then.

Just goes to show how immensely popular BB-8 has become. Everyone will want this Blu-ray cover.

I actually dislike the cover. BB-8 is cool and all but I as expecting something a little more epic than the popular side character.
