Yeah, because there’s going to be a lot of people wearing the exact same helmet and costume…It’s unmistakably him if you see the spot on an actual TV in HD instead of at the resolution of a pear.

It’s Hux, there is a still I’ve seen with him going into a shuttle behind Kylo Ren. Hux without the helmet has the same uniform and thick black belt.

Hux and Kylo have matching costumes, but Hux doesn’t have that mask.

If you look at where the bowl of the helmet connects with front plate, there is an indent. Kylo’s mask does not have that indent. Maybe the picture from the TV spot is misleading and it is Kylo, but I would not be surprised if it were someone else

I haven’t watched the last couple of tv spots (last one I saw was maybe #8 or #9) because I’m trying so hard to savor the treat of this movie for my eyes during my view of it Friday morning. Reading all of the comments for the tv spots has been fun. So hard not to watch, I need encouragement! Help! lol

You should watch them. With every new spot we get like one sec of new footage and most of the time it’s something we’ve seen from another angle. Nothing to spoil. I watch them all over and over again and I’m not less excited for the movie.

It’s overkill! The one thing TPM did right was had a clever ad campaign with each character and arc getting it’s own TV spot. These are mostly things we already know randomly thown together. Long as the actual film is good, But these spots are not very well edited for the most part.

Although I am certain the Movie will be good, I find it odd that no one has really said much about the BLASPHEMY of throwing away George Lucas’ plan of going with the family angle that IS Star Wars. The next generation of Skywalkers and stuff like that. Now the rumors of this might of course be lies, but since he said himself his ideas were more or less scrapped.

And please, let it transpire in space.

    • December 13, 2015 at 10:40 pm
      Permalink

I think what will happen is his original family ideas were merely rewritten in a different way. Kathleen Kennedy has emphasized the family aspect of Star Wars throughout.

      • December 14, 2015 at 1:46 am
        Permalink

Yeah, Kathleen said that these new movies will still focus on the Skywalker family, just like what George said. However, what we don’t know is who is related and or when they will be introduced.

Many say that Rey is the child.

It was the ages of the characters, which was the main difference, teens instead of twenty somethings. There are at least 3 offsprings of the Skywalker legacy being teased and one adopted. All will be revealed in the new trilogy and George even liked the film, what Lucas is doing by being crass on the internet is for one: distancing himself from being Mr. Starwars so he can live his “chapter three of life” and two: assisting Disney to take ownership of the franchise they purchased. All should be happy Lucas, Disney, and Star Wars fans minus zellious fans that need to get a life.
If this trilogy doesn’t gel with folks they can move along, this film so far is mind blowing and full of feeling just like the rest.
