UPDATE 2! Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Toy Catalog Leaks!
The toy leaks continue – in addition to all the toys that have popped up in the past week, a picture of Hasbro’s take on Rey and her speeder have just been found.
Her face is very clearly covered with this particular image and with the action figure itself. I get the feeling that the movie is going to introduce the character in a way that will lead to a “that badass is actually a girl” kind of surprise – something along the lines of “Boushh” being revealed to be Leia in Return Of The Jedi.
UPDATE 1!
Those of you whom have followed our Twitter feed may have noticed that we retweeted a user who found three more figures – two aliens and BB-8.

But that’s not all. Take a look at this collage of all of the LEGO minifigs to come out of the first wave of The Force Awakens sets:
There’s bound to be more “unofficial announcements” between now and Force Friday (along with – hopefully – an actual official announcement). Stay tuned as we learn more about these toys coming forward.
UPDATE 2!
Apparently, the toy catalog for Force Friday leaked out. There are too many images to post individually, so I’ll instead embed an Imgur gallery of the goods. (Whoever made this – thank you!)
So, what’s to learn from all of this? We now know that toys from all three trilogies – along with Rebels – will be represented in varying capacities, although The Force Awakens is obviously the primary focus of the marketing campaign. The figure pack that includes BB-8 features a character only known as “Unkar’s Thug”, a name which might sound familiar if you looked at the LEGO leaks from earlier. The thug’s underling apparently captures BB-8 at some point – and if the character’s inclusion in Rey’s LEGO set is of any indication, Rey rescues the droid after scuffling with the thug.
As far as the other new figures for The Force Awakens go, Finn gets a desert landspeeder and Poe gets his own X-wing. A “Battle Action” Millennium Falcon set featuring a Nerf dart launcher is also another new surprise. The Micromachines also feature a few glimspses at some new ships.
Grant has been a fan of Star Wars for as long as he can remember, having seen every movie on the big screen. When he’s not hard at work with his college studies, he keeps himself busy by reporting on all kinds of Star Wars news for SWNN and general movie news on the sister site, Movie News Net. He served as a frequent commentator on SWNN’s The Resistance Broadcast.
I highly doubt they are going to do the “badass is actually a girl” thing, taht trope is older than dirt… and she was revealed in teh trailer… and with that outfit there really is no hiding it.
I don’t think it’d stop them from doing it in her introduction. They did the same thing with Quorra in Tron: Legacy, in spite of the character being visibly advertised as a girl in advance.
I agree with Dan. She will be introduced with the mask for sure but not as a surprise for the audience because where is the surprise? A badass with no hair on her legs??
I think it’ll be Finn who is surprised about her skills when they meet. I’m very stoked for a female lead. If you guys think females can’t be bad ass I’ve got two words for you… Sigourney Weaver. And after Luke trains Rey for episode 8 she’s going to really kick some ass.
Rey will kick some serious arse just like her mother…
Did Leia kick ass? She was a damsel in distress in one movie, a leader who becomes a damnsel in distress in the second and a damsel in distress who takes the back seat to get injured in the third.
I kind of disagree with your opinions of V & VI.
In Empire, sure she was held hostage to lure Luke, but so was Han, Chewie and Threepio … she was not uniquely filling the role of damsel in distress. And in Jedi she was never in distress at all … she choked the frak outta Jabba the first chance she had. Likewise, with the Ewoks, she wasn’t in distress they just thought she was. She had a better grip on the situation than any of the men.
And, yeah, she’s a badass. Even in ANH, she resists torture, lies to the Empire’s collective face regardless of the risk and takes initiative when the rescue begins. “Some rescue.”
She a tough, no-nonsense kinda gal who is not afraid of anyone, even Vader (“Darth Vader, only you could be so bold.”) or Tarkin (“Governor Tarkin, I should have expected to find you holding Vader’s leash. I recognized your foul stench when I was brought on board.”)
Or, as someone else once said:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSYValHWNOs
Until Luke got involved, she was the only Skywalker taking on the empire herself, without Jedi training. But she was royalty and had some kind of training.
Rey doesn’t have a 12 inch figure………
Easily rectified
Totally agree. Leia is a strong female character. Carrie has the ability to convey a full range of emotions. Leia has the courage to express them.
She was more accurate than a stormtroopers and straight up choked a crime boss to death.
Hmmm I recall Leia choking the Slimy Hutt in the Return of the Jedi. If that is not BA then I do not know what is!
Rey is good enough to be a 6 inch black series figure…. but not good enough to be a 12 inch? Makes perfect sense… not.
Sigourney Weaver is basically half male, just like Gwendoline Christie.
Daisy Ridley has huge teeth when she smiles
One of her most endearing and attractive features, imo.
I love Daisy’s voice, accent and smile. America’s gonna love her. o<|:D
I’m still wondering if Boyega and Ridley are going to stick with their British accents or adopt American ones for the movies.
Personally I’d love to hear some Australian outback accents. As if Rey was born and raised in Alice Springs.
G’day mate.
America? Why only america?…
Mainly cause America is awesome…. Bottom line
Not just a bit too full of yourself are you Ryno?
I forgot that in the eyes of people like you, we should all drop our uniqueness & just become American clones.
Grow up and embrace the whole world!
America includes North, Central and South(To be specific)… “America” is a “melting pot” nation made up of every culture and influence available. Ex. Brittish(Mother culture)French revolution(influenced American Revolution), Mexican “Vaquero” or “Cowboy” , “Western” culture in the southern states etc.
For someone who is such a fan of America and so invested in its influences, your history is a bit wonky. American Revolution: 1765-76, French Revolution: 1789-99 (or thereabouts).
Personally, I don’t think the accents in Star Wars should primarily be American just because American audiences think their country is awesome. Other people think that of their countries and cultures as well, and the melting pot thing is really a global one now (or rather the salad bowl thing). Plus, American audiences have done fine with British actors and accents in the past – see GoT, Lord of the Rings/Hobbit etc. So I’d rather have everyone speaking naturally and focus on their acting instead of on faking an accent.
The only reason someone should speak with an American accent in the new movie is if their characters grew up with parents who speak with an American accent and if they haven’t been away from them for more than a year, because their accent then could have changed in a new environment.
I think anon is just agreeing with the point that “America” is in fact influenced by the world.
It was the Scientific revolution of France that had an influence: Rene Decartes who in 1620’s revolutionized western philosophy. That in turn with the help of others(british philosophers etc.) planted the seed of philosophical change which eventually resulted in the said political revolutions. So what Anon said was “true from a certain point of view”
I agree that accents don’t matter. But what anon is saying is that “American” accents resemble many parts of the world. It’s not a pro-nation thing but a fact that many people around the world influence what many people regard as “American accents.” That is all. I prefer the “British” over many of these so called “American” accents. Leia’s character spoke with a slitghty british accent during ANH because she was in London school of drama for a while. It was great.
“America” has numerous and distinct accents. The early colonists probably had British accents.
Holy Crap! Arguing that America has many accents and then citing a generic “British accent”. Britain has WAAAAAAY more diversity of accents than the US and in a much smaller area. I have never met anyone in the US with an accent I couldn’t understand; in Britain, many times.
Typical comment from an American who has never left his country…
I’ve been to England countryside and London. The funny thing is that I understood them very well but they couldn’t understand my particular American accent. So I did my best British accent and it worked. Cheers mate!
yea she is very attractive. i wonder if they are gonna make her and finn or poe fall in love. i hope not. shes too bad ass for the romantic type
You know next to nothing about her.
Stfu
You’re right. I’m sorry. Maybe she falls in love with all of them, including Chewie, and we get a sandwich scene where she’s shotgunned.
well, that escalated quickly
What many thought the PT lacked was a full fledged “Love Triangle.” OT had it then was resolved in ROTJ. ST: we can only wait and see!
Then America is going to wonder why Hasbro never made a 12 inch doll of her.
Wonder if they’ll release a Dutch Wive’s doll of Rey.
So does Keira Knightly
kinda want those cookies…
I was going to say the exact same thing. LOL
I figured I should start up a new article regarding toys, considering that the old article was becoming a slog to load.
While you’re at it, find some 12 inch dolls of Rey and Poe.
beautifulll
Jesus Christ, you must find everything beautiful. It’s a fucking action figure.
I hope she doesn’t play the typical “oh look at me!!! I can play with the boys” type of character I really dont want to seee a feminist movie
true I hate that fucking feminist bullshit I hope finn is the main character
WOW!! There are some very insecure males up in here! Do you guys live in an all male society or what? I think some people missed the message that SW has been alluding to since the beginning.
Well tough, that’s what you’re getting thanks to Kathleen Kennedy and those in Disney above her. It’s the mandate. Girl Power. And the same for Rogue One too. It’s in all the adverts, all the sitcoms and drama’s too – Man = Stupid, Woman = Powerful and embarassing Man. Or helping him up from the dirt. If it wasn’t so obvious and mandated I’d accept it. It’d be OK. The fact that it probably wasn’t a major factor in the original Episode 7 idea, and has been STAMPED onto that script from Disney that we must have a powerful girl lead, completely spoils the entire film for me. And I’m not being sexist. My opinion would still stand if Disney said: “We want a packet of Salt and Vinegar crisps to be the powerful lead in this film. Make it so.” Perhaps people would then like to create a new term, and label me Crispist, Saltist or Vinegarist? I think Fisher held her own quite well in the original three films, everyone was kinda equal.
You sound like a child… Is it really that inconceivable that the writers could have thought ‘huh, a female protagonist would really serve this narrative well…’??? TFA has two male leads and a female, just like the original trilogy. Was A New Hope too feminist for you as well?
if the main protaganist had been a young white male ‘skywalker’ then there would have been a comparrison to both luke and anakin from the offset and the series would be dubbed and indeed seem ‘tired and without new ideas’ I think making the main sky walker character female is a good move, there have been six starwars films, none of which have had a decent female in it. people say leia was a good female lead, but all she does is act feisty, she’s definatly a damsel in distress type. and that suits the films fine but I’d like to see something else within the star wars universe, we’ve never even seen a female jedi within the main characters.
You overlook Leia’s progressiveness.
While she was certainly fashioned in the mold of a damsel in distress, she never shied from using a blaster, fearlessly faced down the likes of Vader and Tarkin, went on dangerous missions from the start of the trilogy, endured torture to keep the Rebellion safe, killed Jabba the Hutt herself with her own strength and a chain, put Han in his place several times and was a leader in the Rebellion.
I imagine Rey will take it to the next level.
Han was never put in his place by anyone. That was part of what made him so cool.
Wrong. *adjusts nerd glasses*
Actually Leia never took any of Han’s crap and she gave it right back to him. That’s why he liked her.
Not wrong and your comment doesn’t disagree with mine at all. They both gave it and took it. Putting him in his place would be making him subordinate to her (which as a princess she expected). But that never happened.
In ANH Leia and Luke often spoke of him in a somewhat condescending manner: “He’s got courage.” It was actually Luke’s idea to save her.
No jackass, putting him in his place doesn’t mean making him her subordinate, it means he was a condescending prick and she knocked him off his high horse. Stop making shit up to support your own fanboy Han Solo fantasies.
She didn’t put him in his place or knock him down a peg. You are just seeing what you want to see.
LOL, you really think a sci-fi/fantasy movie (or TV show for that matter) with a ‘strong’ female lead is a new, fresh idea? At this point if it was anything but it would be a fresh idea!!
Would be nice if Rey would be some mix of O-Ren Ishii, Beatrix Kiddo and her mother/aunt Leia.
But leia wasnt main leader, man need to be leader
Don’t like the shoe on the other foot huh?
Feminism done right doesn’t really do most of the things you talk about. Feminism is an important part of our cultural development, but the extreme feminists (aka “feminazis”) give the movement a bad name. It seems like that’s what you’re describing.
If this movie has feminist overtones but does it right, my guess is that most people won’t even notice, and if they do, they won’t be offended.
In early drafts of SW the character that would become Luke was female. A female lead was always in the ether.
As others have said Leia was a very progressive character also.
Also, lets not go down the road of misogyny on top of the vomit-inducing racism around here. You sound like scared little boys when you bash feminism. You clearly dont understand feminism if you think it is about making a female lead in SW. Real feminism is a benefit to all, and if you don’t understand what I mean go do some reading about the effects of patriarchy on females and males alike.
I expect to get railed for this post, but know that this is all I’m saying on the subject.
Wrong. All the early drafts had a male lead. The idea of a female lead comes from the Ralph McQuarrie concept poster. So yeah, at one point Lucas was playing with the idea of a female lead, but it never made it into any of the scripts.
My details are off, but clearly the female lead idea was in place prior to ANH. The point remains the same.
Thanks for the correction though! I hope it brings you days and days of nerd joy!
Its the friggin’ 70s! Lucas is a also a male and his ‘art’ reflected this too… albeit in a very revolutionary way given the times.
Remember that Jedi Master Lucas was mentored in writing and directing by Master Coppola (Godfather) who in college was taught and encouraged in film by Dorothy Arzner: a female Hollywood legend.
Is that why they’ve yet to hire a female director for ANY of these films
I get the impression you don’t have a clue what ‘feminist’ means.
+1
The way Rey sits on her Speeder reminds me of The Lid of Palenque ( which is great! )
Ah, yes! I did have a subtle feeling that her sitting on that speeder reminded me of something, and this may well be it!
To make matters perfect, Erich von Däniken in his heyday declared that the Lid of Palenque actually depicts an Ancient Astronaut controlling his spaceship!
Here is one image:
http://www.thehistoryhub.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Palenque-Slab-Astronaut.jpg
Forget Daniken, read Sitchin and take the red pill.
The Rey figure is 5 points of articulation, so that means the figure will be ‘standing’ on the Speeder rather than sitting on it. How very 1978 where us collectors had to put the Stormtrooper into the ‘trap-door’ of the Dewback to gain the illusion of ‘sitting. Talk about five-steps back for corrupt Hasbro. Absolutely dreadful…
‘corrupt Hasbro’? Yikes, did you forget to have your morning coffee today?
Actually, the protoypes would indicate that Rey has elbow and knees joints ( bending beneath her leg garment ), so she should be able to sit properly on the bike.
Really have you seen the prototypes? Please share!
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/69852
These are the more articulated 6″ versions, whereas the standard 3.75″ figures have had all the detail sucked out of them lately. Even as a kid, I hated 5poa.
Good news! You don’t have to buy it!
And where is the 12 inch Rey figure???
Rey, who may very well be the main star, does not get a 12 inch posable dall? …. And yet Darth vader gets one and he’s not even in the movie except aas a dead helmet?
It almost seems Disney is dissing girls… again.
The catalog does say “more online” and this is just the first wave of toys…
I think there will be a 12″ Rey and Captain Phasma eventually.
I am female and loved my 12″ Leia doll. Played with her with both my Barbies and my brother’s Boba Fett doll (oops, action figure)
i think that this set pretty much confirms who’s daughter Rey is and what planet does she really live on
I’m not happy with the look of any of these new figures, the quality has declined in the last year, moreso since the double packs with limited articulation and detail-it looks like Disney/Hasbro are pushing this cheaper style into the full range now, I hope they aren’t still going to ask the £11 they’ve been charging for the Black series 3.5 inch for this new crap. That said, I’ll probably still buy at least some of it.
The figures were at their peak during the 30th anniversary range, that may have been a few years ago now, but those figures cost half as much as the last series, even the plastic on the last range of figures felt cheaper (more bendy and articulation wasn’t great).
These figures are complete trash and even the stores’ know it. Look how they stocked them right next to the Famous Amos. Pathetic.
Nah! just woke up and smelt the coffee.
I was just noticing that Rey is very pale considering she lives on, and possibly grew up on, a planet that at least where we find her, is a desert.
I realize that she is British and her skin tone is what it is, but to me, it would be better filmmaking to have at least giver her a bit of a tan. Even if she covers most her body for protection, we see that at least sometimes her lower legs and face are exposed to the sun.
I know, it’s just a film, and a space fantasy ( not sci-if ) at that. I just thought it odd that a light skinned person in a desert environment would look the part. But, I guess Luke and co. weren’t all that dark back in the day either.
I have spent months in the desert. During that time i got very dusty and found that after a shower a lot of what I thought was tan was actually dust which stopped me tanning. Also you will notice that rey is covered up which would obviously block out the sun and prevent any tanning
Which might prove that Rey is not really from there.. As her genes and melanin count in her skin are concerned… storywise.
Not when you’re wrapped in mummy wear. / Srry, no disrespect to the costume designer, but still…
Its a start and shows the character’s humble beginnings. Reminds me of the Tusken Raider attire. I think its cool!!
Leia was pretty bad-ass in the OT, even if she was written to be the damsel-in-distress. It was obviously meant to be ironic and challenge the expectations of the audience- as was the sarcastic banter between Han and Leia.
Although that motif has been overdone in recent years, it would follow a well-established tradition in this franchise to make the lead female character tough as nails. What’s new is that it looks like Rey is our, “Luke”- the lead character and main protagonist.
I look forward to this approach, actually. It could prove to be a refreshing way to view the SW Universe. The new Mad Max (and even the original ‘Alien’ series) proved to me that a female character can be written to be more than a victim or a companion.
I say, bring on the ladies!!!!
Buuuuuhhh
So do I, but it never works.
We have found the white knight, guys!
Guys! Did you know that Yoda was actually a female?
Lol
Master Yaddle was the female Yoda! Duh!
We want Finn to be main leader
The sexist shit on here is appalling and primitive.
I’ve been a fan all my life, but there is a very vocal cross-section of supposed fans here that remind me of the time in our history when angry villagers would light torches and cheer at hangings.
No offense to the civilized fans! 😉
“The sexist shit on here is appalling and primitive.”
Hmm. At least it’s a refreshing change from the racist shit.
So you finally admit that you are chauvinistic pig and you do have an agenda
White knight can’t handle a discussion of different views without running to the defense of women who need no defense. Your stance won’t get you laid.
No intention of buying any of these forthcoming action figures, been there, done it way back in the late ’70s and into the 80s. However, I many be tempted to buy the Poe’s Lego X-Wing. That looks pretty rad.
Is this catalog complete? Because the only thing I was looking for was a 12 inch Rey doll… And that was the only thing I can’t find…
Sigh…
Nothing ‘really’ new and exciting and new has been ‘leaked’ lately. Something tells me Disney somehow is in control of what’s leaking and when. I mean we have not seen any Luke leaks have we, we’ve basically only seen leaks of things we’ve seen in the trailers. Oh well, it at least doesn’t spoil the movie to much in December.
You missed the Luke leak then.
Ahhhh! Looks like that thing has a blaster on top! She’s gonna see some action on her speeder.
WHOA……….I didn’t know Famous Amous came in a tub!
Can’t wait for you boys to expose yourselves to the world this December. It’s gonna be a LOUD wake up call to Disney and Lucasfilm.
I actually dont mind the 5POA. I’m a huge fan of the old kenner figures, and when i was a kid, and even today, not a big fan of the figures with more articulation.
Putting the mask on the figure was a smart move.
Every single rendition of her face looks phoned in so far.
http://i.imgur.com/jT9mQe2.jpg
No surprise the speeder it self is not worth talking about. What a bore.
You are a bore, that speeder is exciting, look at evey clone Wars speeder or Tyranus’s speeder, even Darth maul had a less appealing speeder, I’ve seen more unused designs that blow away anything that we got in the movies.
Give somethings a chance, all of the new empire designs don’t stand up on their own, but in combination with other vehicles on screen it all looks amazing
Not a fan of the speeder’s design. Looks like a 50’s style refrigerator on it’s side.
Or Luke’s speeder on its side.
Or a giant Gonk Droid on its side! Remember that they want the style and feel of the OT.
I just hope finn is the main hero of these movies cos I don’t want to see some dumb feminiazi movie
Cool… I’ll take your ticket.
I’m actually really looking forward to Rey taking the mantle of hero this trilogy. It’s only obvious that’s what’s going to happen. Sorry?
Finn is the one with the lightsaber, star wars is about jedi mostly so I really don’t care about Rey’s character I just want to see Finn as the main character fighting Kylo ren not rey
Finn uses the lightsaber, but mostly because Rey is reluctant. When the need arises, however she accepts her destiny.
Hey are you going to eat those Famous amos cookies? no… just leave them right there!
Moderators, please erase “anon lol.”
Moderators, please erase “Plainview.”
This place is awful sometimes
I never noticed how recently that Daisy looks like a better fed Kiera Knightly. I guess that’s a nice touch seeing as how she essentially played her character’s Grandma’s decoy.
She also slightly resembles Shmi Skywalker.
I am beginning to think Rey might just be an orphan like Ezra Bridger .
Explains the lack of a name on the toys.
Rey a smart street orphan mixed with a bit of the junkyard scavenger Solo from Legacy’s Wanted series.
Maybe she is just another survivor from the crashed star destroyer making it on her own.
She’s a Solo.
I think you are right ,after seeing the Empire cover and the Lego set showing what looks like Rey and BB8 next to the Falcon
Seems to be a Solo .
I’m pretty sure a giant starship falling from the sky would have…0 survivors.
That would make an amazing back story!!
Did you watch Episode 3?
The Imperial Class Star Destroyer appears to be mostly intact, that Super Star Destroyer on the other hand, is a bit wrecked.
There could be survivors who made it out of that super star destroyer in escape pods like the droids in A New Hope.
Rey Solo (Sounds good)
Rey Kenobi(I was thinking of that one )
Rey Skywalker
or just Rey
You’d think there would be a name reveal on the toys .
Not in this wave.
The full names will come with figures in 2016… assuming of course that they are revealed in this film.
Rey looks a lot better than Boyega.
But then again, who doesn’t? lol
I dunno… I really can’t see myself getting much of these toys if they all have that horrible lack of articulation and cheap design, which so far has looked to be the case. I mean, that guy next to BB-8 looks pretty nice but then you get to the waist and… well… that’s not the good type of gap.
Rey is an authentic Skywalker.
Finn is just some bumass stormtrooper.
You mean Bombass right? He got tired of all the First Order BS! Who can blame him…
There’s a reason why we aren’t seeing any Luke, Leia or some other chatacters’ figures, yet.
Why ruin the surprise!
Judging by the lack of a toy for Snoke, he’s either not on screen, or not fully seen in this film
Hes a secret…. Shhh!!
There’s no Han, Leia, Luke, or Maz Kanata.
There’s a lot of characters in the film who haven’t got new figures.
They aren’t releasing everything before the film.
That said, I’m not expecting Snoke to appear beyond a few hologram appearances.
I think Rey buys BB8 off that one little alien.
That being said, where is the outcry over the utter disregard of a droid’s freedom/rights in these films?
I want Droid Lives Matter t-shirts out by end-o-week!
Kind of like the the Junk dealing Jawas in ANH.
Yep… I’ll be buying whatever lego sets have Phasma, New Stormies and Ren.
That twin pack with Unkar’s thug and BB-8 also comes with Teedo (listed as Jakku Scavenger)… We just got that picture from Entertainment weekly with Rey cutting BB-8 free from the netting as Teedo stands by.
The Luggabeast w/ Teedo also comes in the “First Order Attacks” micromachine set.
So is Teedo at the village when it get’s attacked at the start?
The other speeder in the chase scene with the thugs appears to be the same one that comes with a figure of Finn.
They really do seem to spend a long time on Jakku in this movie.
– Opening village attack sequence
– Speeder chase with Unkar’s thugs
– Running on foot from the First Order
– Millennium Falcon chase.
I want a golden goose now, Daddy!
I hate those cheap looking figures with their Power Rangers accessories. The paintjobs are horrible. They managed to give us a shiny 3PO in the 70’s and now we get a dull one and an unchromed Phasma??? The worst offense are the non removeable helmets with the yellow painted visors and that horrible Falcon gun/toy?
WTF Hasbro, the 95 POTF looks great in comparison…
Interesting that Chewie is raging in the promo art. Big spoiler, I’d say.
We need more women! and more black! and more black women!
Anyone seen this merchandise yet? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0119OQCKC?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creativeASIN=B0119OQCKC&linkCode=xm2&tag=theforawablo-21
Star Wars and Nerf go together like PB & J… 🙂 Finn’s desert speeder reminds me of a mini- Y-Wing.
Maybe this question has already been answered but why haven’t we seen any action figures of Snoke, Max von Sydow and Maz yet?
Did anybody else notice that the Kylo Ren extendable lightsaber toy has a LIGHT DAGGER?!?!
I guess other figures will be released at a later date. I remember the first batch that came out in 1977. Only a few were available when the film first came out.
Yes. LIGHT. DAGGER.
NEW PICTURES
http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=45181
What I’m wondering is why there are no toys with Maz Kanata… Are they trying to keep what she looks like a complete secret?
They seem to be keeping Snoke and Maz a secret the way Peter Jackson kept Gollum and the Balrog a secret in LOTR. No merch had those likenesses before release, but in the second wave of merch they were everywhere.
Damn, 6″ Black Series Kylo Ren and Rey look fucking dope
MF.com has the original larger size 1400×1400 promotional images plus download package
http://millenniumfalcon.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=2015&t=9688
Note that under the masks, there is a Kylo Ren voice changer mask. It will be very cool to hear that. Can’t wait to hear what he sounds like!
I just hope that another actor (e.g. Max Von Sydow) isn’t voicing Kylo Ren…
But to think, in 2 weeks (or sooner, if someone uploads a video of it), we should be able to get an idea of how Kylo Ren sounds.
As an avid Star Wars collector, ive got to say i think they’ve dropped the ball when it comes to this range, The Battle action Millenium Falcon looks awful! Just when i thought the Rebels branded falcon was trash, this comes along with a stupid looking cannon at the front of the ship… urrrrrggghhh!
What’s with the remote controlled bb-8 on the last page?
These are kids toys! sorry to all the adults with disposable incomes, but the kids playing with these and having seen the movie won’t give a flying f**k and will be busy running around making blaster noises, hiding Finn in a sandbox and zooming Rey around their patio while their friends shoot missiles at them from a TIE fighter.
Maybe nostalgia under glass works for some, but grown men/women griping about a toy they are never going to play with is baffling.
I still have all my original Star Wars toys, granted it’s in storage but my two sons will be the proud owners of old and new Star Wars toys in the coming year or so, they’re still little fellas. I will get more joy out my old toys getting down on the carpet seeing my kids creating new worlds for themselves. That’s what Star Wars is from me, that will bring back so many memories.
Anyone else notice that BB-8 is in the droid slot of Poe’s X-Wing? Guess he starts off as his astromech before hooking up with Finn and Rey?
