Hot Toys Announce Full Details for Artisan Edition Anakin Skywalker
First revealed last week, Hot Toys today officially announced their brand new Artisan Edition Revenge of the Sith Anakin Skywalker one sixth scale figure.
When we shared the first images of this figure we said that if the final figure looks as incredible as the prototype then it will easily be Hot Toys’ best Star Wars offering to date and having seen the full reveal today we unreservedly stand by that. This is, hands down, the most accurate representation of Anakin we have ever seen in this scale and looks absolutely stunning.
As Hot Toys’ first DX Series Artisan Edition this figure raises the bar to an unbelievable level. While the focus is, quite fairly, on the wool hair implantation, the tailoring on the costume looks to have been completely redone, and the face sculpt is simply phenomenal. With the combination of woolen hair, movable eyes, and the incredibly lifelike sculpt, this figure looks just like Hayden Christensen walked off the set of Revenge of the Sith and onto collectors’ shelves.
Announcing the figure on Facebook today, Hot Toys wrote:

Some even believed he was the prophesied Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force. A hero of the Clone Wars, Anakin was caring and compassionate, but suffered from a deep fear of loss that would prove to be his downfall.
Today Hot Toys is excited to officially introduce the new 1/6th scale Anakin Skywalker collectible figure to Hot Toys’ brand new DX series Artisan Edition!

The only downside to this release is the fact that it’s a Toy Fair Exclusive limited to just 3,000 pieces worldwide which means it’s going to be tough to get hold of.
