Hasbro Shares Some of their Upcoming Star Wars Figures and Toys

Nearly every Star Wars fan used to play imaginary battles with their action figures at one time or another. Whether you were reproducing the battle of Hoth in your backyard after a snow storm or creating one of the grand imagined battles of the Clone Wars in the dungeons of your basement, those actions figures provided a gateway into the imagined strategic machinations of galactic rebellion.  Rogue One had a sense about it that it was like bringing these imagined campaigns of our youth to life. A piece of our childhood projected on a big screen in all its explosion filled glory. So, Rogue One characters would seem especially well suited for reproduction by Hasbro in their continually great line of figures.

Hasbro was kind enough to share some of their upcoming products with us and they look predictably fantastic. So, check them out below.  We’ve got some great new Rogue One additions as well as some representation for the Rebels line and a new Bladebuilder kit to boot.  Hopefully, these should be hitting shelves sometime soon so everyone’s next beach excursion or sandbox adventure might reproduce the Battle of Scarif.

Some pretty neat figures here. I actually collect the old 12 inch figures, but the new ones they produce are just so bad. The models are on point, but they have 0 movement in them, so they really only sit in the one pose, which sucks

In regards to Bistan reminds me of my favorite line from Step Brothers “It’s okay, Mom. I don’t care he’s not movie accurate.”
