Star Wars: The Force Awakens Cast & Crew Will Talk On Jimmy Fallon & GMA All This Week.
This week is going to be big for the ad campaign for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, as the movie will be promoted not once, not twice, but seven times in the course of four days. For a quick primer about when these promotions will occur, what shows they will be on, and who will be promoting the film, click ahead.

Good Morning America airs from 7:00-9:00 AM; as the show is not simulcast in all regions of the United States, that’s to say that EST viewers will see it first, followed by CST, MST, and PST viewers about an hour apart from the previous broadcast. Whenever “morning” hits in those regions, so will the show.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will be having J. J. Abrams on Monday night, Harrison Ford on Tuesday night, Adam Driver on Wednesday night, and Daisy Ridley on Thursday night. Unlike GMA, Jimmy Fallon’s show is simulcast, so it will be airing at 11:35 PM EST, 10:35 PM CST, and so on. It’s entirely possible that some new clips and television spots might come out of all this promotion.

Grant has been a fan of Star Wars for as long as he can remember, having seen every movie on the big screen. When he’s not hard at work with his college studies, he keeps himself busy by reporting on all kinds of Star Wars news for SWNN and general movie news on the sister site, Movie News Net. He served as a frequent commentator on SWNN’s The Resistance Broadcast.
Hoadily Jerk league!
So much promotion, and no Mark Hamill as a late night guest? Ive got a bad feeling about this.
And I was thinking Disney would let up… Nope.
Edit: and no Luke? Bummer…
13 tv spots (according to the number on the most recent one I saw). That’s got to be some kind of record, surely?!
“This movie is barely being marketed…”
People have to accept that they aren’t marketing and promoting Luke because they don’t want to mislead the fans. Luke Skywalker has a small appearance in this movie.
Or maybe he’s just gonna be in a really pivotal scene with a big reveal. Either way, he’s gonna play a HUGE part in Episode VIII.
I know. That’s what I’ve been saying for awhile on here. I think he has ten minutes in the film, but it’s an impact, and they can’t reveal of of those shits. It still falls into what I said that he has a small appearance in the film, yet powerful, and any shots of his scenes can potentially spoil things.
Yes please don’t kill off LUKE!
I should have read this before replying to your post above!
agreed. hes coming back strong in EP 8 (and hopefully Lando)
Small appearance is fine, as long as it’s a good one. Darth Vader only had about 11 minutes of screen-time in A New Hope, but he made them count!
i believe lukes appearance will be a force ghost, you wont even see him die, he will just appear. what a shock would that be. maybe then after they will use a past shot of how he got murdered
the final countdown….

Shitty interview, I know they can’t ask them certain questions but he’s always sucked at asking questions.
I love this site, always keeping me updated.
