Why does Leland Chee who’s on the story group not know how to pronounce Sifo-Dyas?

…. Wait, Sifo Dyas was in Season 6??? I have to assume that’s in one of the online story continuations, rather than in the lost missions….

Some who think Sifo Dyas was a set up, and that he would show up later. That can now be laid to rest as a plot hole or a vauge cheap shot in story development. I remember EP 2 script was delayed. To me Sifo Dyas was an unnecessary mention to say how the army was crafted and too much emphasis was put on him in the film, making me think he would show up in a plot twist as say Mace or some other character that we knew.
I feel they should have combined him and Grievous as one character.
However, fans on forums have felt it was a Lucas led path to a book sale.
The way Dave Filioni talks leads me to think Lucas just spit out the character and never had intentions other than it being a Sidious Anagram.
But it was mentioned that he was known to be an existing Jedi missing for ten years.
So why now with the finished filmed Prequels and the Book mention of his back story ( now legends, do we get this Lost Mission reveal?
Because it was a failed idea that caused speculation as part of the Mystery style Episode 2 plot.
If anything the whole Sifo Dyas thing was confusing.

Now it was revisited in the Clone wars because of Canon issues and to dispell him possibly showing up as one of the lost Twenty one.
If that concept is dead as well we will see.
I really thought there was going to be more to Sifo but this seems just thrown together.
