‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3: Highlighting All Character Posters Revealed So Far

With the calm before the Star Wars Celebration storm upon us, we thought it would be a good time to highlight some of the character posters released for The Mandalorian season 3 so far. As of the posting of this story, we are five episodes in, and the excitement is ramping up.

Before the season started airing, Lucasfilm revealed three character posters for the main characters of the new season: Din Djarin (with Grogu), Bo-Katan, and Greef Karga:

We kicked off the season with the reintroduction of the Armorer (Emily Swallow) and Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris); the first episode also introduced three Anzellan droidsmiths who received their own character poster:

Chapters 19 and 20 brought back a few familiar faces, from Dr. Pershing (Omid Abtahi) to Elia Kane (Katy O’Brian), who appeared in four episodes of season 2, and whose role became much larger this season. But of course, the big surprise of these two episodes was the return of Ahmed Best, who reprised his role as Kelleran Beq from the children’s game show he hosted, Jedi Temple Challenge (2020); he was the Jedi who rescued Grogu from the Jedi Temple. Check out their character posters here:

Chapter 20 also put some focus on Paz Vizsla (Tait Fletcher) as he embarked on a mission to rescue his son. In Chapter 21, we met back with New Republic officer Carson Teva (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee), who got his own character poster too:

And last but not least, we have Ryan Gosling as Ken from the new Barbie movie:

Anything surprising in those last few posters? Of course, there is no Zeb! The beloved character from Star Wars: Rebels made his debut in Chapter 21 through a quick cameo, but it looks like that wasn’t enough to give him a character poster. With Sabine Wren pretty much poised to have her live-action debut in at least one of the remaining episodes of the season, ahead of her big role in Ahsoka, it’s likely she will get her own poster, should it happen.

New episodes of The Mandalorian debut every Wednesday on Disney Plus. Chapter 22, out on Wednesday, was written by Jon Favreau and directed by Bryce Dallas Howard. Given the way Chapter 21 ended, we assume that, by this time next week, we will at least have a new character poster of Moff Gideon, who might finally show up in the coming episode.

You can check out Miguel’s discussion on Chapter 21 here, and be sure to come back for our breakdown of the new episode once it airs. More Mandalorian and Ahsoka news will surely be announced over the weekend during Star Wars Celebration, so stay tuned for that too!
