‘LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’ Sold 3.2 Million Copies in Two Weeks

Two weeks after LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was released globally, Warner Bros. Games and TT Games have announced they’ve already sold 3.2 million copies worldwide. This should come as no surprise, as we’ve been hearing from a lot of people that it is almost impossible to grab a physical copy of the highly-anticipated game right now.

Per Gematsu, this surpasses all previous LEGO console game launches, and also sets a record across all regions, platforms and editions. The game is already available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. For context, Star Wars: Squadrons sold 1.1 million digital copies during its first month, Star Wars: Battlefront II sold 1 million, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sold 2.9 million. The Skywalker Saga digital sales almost matched Elden Ring‘s, according to another report.

Two new premium character packs have also been released, following WB Games’ announcement; the Rogue One pack brings seven new characters from the prequel film, including Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, Cassia Andor, K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbus and Director Krennic; the Classic Character Pack features the original 1999 LEGO character skins for Luke, Leia, Han, Lando, and Darth Vader.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the first title to comprehensively adapt the events of all nine Star Wars Skywalker Saga movies (The Phantom MenaceAttack of the ClonesRevenge of the SithA New HopeThe Empire Strikes BackReturn of the JediThe Force AwakensThe Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker), featuring a cast of nearly 400 characters, over 100 vehicles, and more than 25 key locations throughout the galaxy far, far away in a playable format. Players are able to explore 45 playable missions and have tons of free-roam adventures that take place in a series of open-world environments.
