Details on All Marvel Star Wars Comics Arriving This November

An absolutely-stacked month of Star Wars comics arrives later this year. Marvel’s November solicitations contain a peek at several brand new series, heightened stakes in the ongoing tales, and tease what the future holds in 2023. Here is the complete list of Star Wars Marvel titles arriving this Fall.

The upcoming slate of Star Wars comics arriving this November comes via Games Radar. Beginning with the new 10-issue Yoda miniseries, issue #1 is arriving a bit later than what was announced back at Star Wars Celebration. In any event, the first part of the story joins Yoda during his High Republic days.

• To some, he was a legend. To others, he was a teacher. Now Yoda is all but forgotten, living in exile and haunted by the past. As a strangely familiar voice echoes through the swamps of Dagobah, Yoda must revisit the many lessons he has given over the years, from the days of the High Republic to the chaos of the Clone Wars.

• In the first of three story arcs, a desperate cry for help reaches the Jedi Council on Coruscant and only Yoda can respond.

• But how far will he go to protect a community from attack?

As recently revealed by writer Charles Soule, Star Wars: Hidden Empire marks the beginning of the end for the ongoing story of Qi’ra that began back in War of the Bounty Hunters. Issue #1 is coming this November.

• The mysterious syndicate CRIMSON DAWN and its leader LADY QI’RA have become the galaxy’s most wanted criminals, as EMPEROR PALPATINE realizes the scope of Qi’ra’s plans against him and moves to destroy her.

• But Qi’ra still has tricks up her sleeve, and with the help of the KNIGHTS OF REN and her many other allies, she will not go down without a fight!

So what comes after Hidden Empire? Well, we will be getting our first taste in the new one-shot issue titled Star Wars: Revelations. StarWars.com recently announced the issue, revealing it will feature Darth Vader paying a visit to the Eye of Webbish Bog on Mustafar. The creature is well-attuned to the Force and is set to show Vader something important. That something being a tease of what’s to come from Marvel in 2023. Marc Guggenheim (Han Solo & Chewbacca) will be writing the issue.

Adding to the pile of issue #1’s in November is another High Republic series. Charles Soule’s The Blade #1 hits shelves, telling the story of Jedi Master Porter Engle and how he became immortalized as the Blade of Bardotta.

• Hundreds of years before the Skywalker Saga, witness the rise of a legend – the mighty Jedi PORTER ENGLE, perhaps the most skilled lightsaber wielder in the High Republic.

• With his fellow Jedi Knight Barash, he travels the galaxy, serving as a guardian of peace and justice.

• But even Porter Engle has enemies he cannot defeat.

Also in the High Republic realm for Star Wars comics is the next issue from Cavan Scott’s journey to Jedha. The High Republic issue #2 finds our lead Jedi investigating a murder.

• And why do all roads lead to the Temple of the Whills?

Onto the previews for the big four ongoing series. With Hidden Empire starting, they are all bound to shift a bit towards what’s happening in the event series. But for at least November, it looks like they are focused on their own narratives.

Ethan Sacks’ Bounty Hunters releases its 28th issue, which sees our group of bounty hunters in peril. Valance meanwhile is left with an impossible choice.

Darth Vader #29 continues its journey through the Sith Lord’s past, this time bringing back recollections of him slaughtering Wat Tambor and the rest of the Separatist leadership. Now the consequences of those actions come to bear for Vader and the handmaiden at his side. What would a new slate of Star Wars comics be without Darth Vader?

• Also, which Handmaiden is this? And will this new adventure fulfill Sabé’s dream of derailing Vader’s journey to the dark side — or simply complete it?

Elsewhere in the galaxy, Aphra is still consumed by the Spark Eternal. Doctor Aphra issue #26 will see Sana Starros and her team do whatever it takes get their friend(?) back.

• It’s time…for a treasure hunt!

Marc Guggenheim’s Han Solo & Chewbacca is quickly coming to an end. Issue #7 of its planned 10-issue run arrives in November as well. The issue will see Chewbacca trying to escape prison, Greedo on the run, and the return of someone who isn’t exactly happy with how things have transpired.
