Kanan Jarrus’ Lightsaber Available for Purchase Starting November 1

Star Wars fans can now add Kanan Jarrus’ lightsaber to their collection. As revealed in the latest This Week! in Star Wars Dispatch from Star Wars‘ official social media, the blue lightsaber of Jedi survivor-turned-Rebellion hero will be available for purchase at Disney Parks starting on November 1. The saber will then be made available on shopDisney at a later date.

Feel free to check out the short video debuting the new lightsaber below. The hilt looks to be modeled after the version seen in Star Wars: Rebels. Kanan Jarrus was voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr. As a young boy, Kanan (then known as Caleb Dume) was the apprentice of Master Depa Billaba. He would then go on the run after Order 66, hiding his true identity. The character would later serve as young Ezra Bridger’s master.

The lightsaber comes as a result of a fan poll earlier this year. However, the timing with Ahsoka is likely not a coincidence, as Ezra Bridger was also seen in the show wielding a lightsaber modeled after Kanan’s. It is scheduled for purchase at Walt Disney World and Disneyland on November 1. It will then come to shopDisney later this Fall.

This comes at a time when several new Star Wars lightsabers have been revealed and are being made available for purchase. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Stellan Gios’ lightsaber from the High Republic will be getting a new limited-edition Legacy Lightsaber. However, fans will want to get in on this one quickly as it is limited to 5,000 produced (for now). And not long before, Hasbro unveiled Sabine’s Force-FX Elite Lightsaber from Ahsoka. This lightsaber sports a green hue as seen in the show, alongside the modified hilt that was given to Sabine by Ezra. The lightsaber originally belonged to Ezra, but was given to Sabine in Star Wars: Rebels.
