If you watch the trailers with no audio, everything Finn says is,”You have a boyfriend? A cute boyfriend.”

Good spot. Finn reminded me of Vader though (“Where is Padme?”)

I like that his first question after waking up is where Rey is.

Insert generalist complaint about Finn that is unoriginal, demeaning, and repetitive.

Yeah, Finn is pretty annoying, you’re right about that.

Not sure what you’re all upset about, I’m just agreeing with you.

            I’m not upset. I’m entertained.

            ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?

Unoriginal, demeaning, and repetitive would be an apt description of these sequels so far.

Then what are you doing here? Why waste your time discussing movies you don’t like?

Anyone else feel annoyed that there are TIE FIGHTERS with Walkers? Couldn’t they come up with a new design or a new ship? Just doesn’t seem to fit to me. Its a really minor thing though. Overall this is looking great.

The artistic vision of these sequels is turgid and pretty uninspired. Which is a shame considering the alleged talent behind it.

It is uninspired, The ship Han Solo was flying around in looked like a shoebox in the film.
Don’t even start me on the spaghetti monsters he was carrying.

I never thought I’d be sick of TIEs and X-Wings. Hear me out. I love them to death. I really do. I feel like Rogue One gave us the ultimate love letter to them.

So… can we have some new modifications please? I was dog fighting Ren’s new ship in battlefront the other day and even though it’s similar… it’s still new. I liked it.

I want something like that. New but familiar. Sort of like the first order Trooper Armor.

It is nice the trailer, like if Rey was asking Luke for help (we suppose is him) and the answer is Finn and Poe.
Finn is asking about Rey: “she saved you”, we wonder the answer.
May be is Poe who answer them “We are the spark…”

    Nearly there.

Would prefer more Kylo Ren stuff. He’s my fav character in the ST…..so far that is.

When I saw that last vid of Rey saying Kylo let Luke down I was like “oi back the f%*k off my boy”

I haven’t watched any of the TV spots, but she better back the hell off. Saying Luke letting Kylo down makes more sense to me. Ben was just a kid, and Luke couldn’t stop him from going dark, taking into consideration Luke knows exactly what that kind of temptation feels like. Yet, he rose above it.

I haven’t watched any of them either, trailer 2 was enough for me, i made that mistake with TFA and i felt i knew too much of the movie before i went into the theatre, this time i’m fresh as a daisy for TLJ.
I might even give myself a 6 month holiday from star wars before Ep9 is released (yeah like that could ever happen)

Yeah I had seen too much of TFA before watching it in theaters. I’ve been a bit bad coming onto this site, but it’s back to the real world for now. I want to go into this movie as fresh as possible

I’m just about finished reading the Phasma book (which is EXCELLENT, by the way), and if Finn ends up beating her somehow that would be a major inconsistency and would go against everything in the canon book. In the book Phasma is one of the best warriors to be found anywhere, and completely wipes the floor with anyone trained in the First Order. She is the alpha fighter in every single situation. Totally badass and deadly.

By the way, Phasma caving in and and disabling the shield generator in TFA is completely within character. It may seem inconsistent for someone who hasn’t read the book, but it’s not.

It will be the usual fair finn will have the slight upper hand at first then Phasma will start to get the better of him and since its the middle chapter of a three part series the fight will ultimately end in a stalemate of some sorts with the fight concluding in ep. IX. Or the unexpected will happen and one of them will be killed but that seems kind of unlikely.

Just happy that Phasma has more to do because she seemed like she should of had more to do in TFA but really just stands around the whole movie with little to do. Plus what got me was all the fuss about how this was the first female trooper and all the hype and she has like two whole minutes of screen time. That’s JJ for you? I guess?

When I first saw it I assumed her sole reason for existence was purely to turn of the shields and it would be funny if she had some history with Finn.
Didn’t realise that she was supposed to be a main character at the time although I had seen her in merchandising.
