LEGO Reveals New Exclusive Set For Celebration Orlando in Celebration of Star Wars’ 40th Anniversary!

We are just 9 days away from the Star Wars fan event of the year – Celebration Orlando. As you know, this year we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Star Wars saga, and LEGO has just revealed a special-edition Star Wars set, exclusively available to Star Wars Celebration attendees only. The new LEGO set is inspired by the Detention Block AA-23 from the original 1977 film, and Star Wars Celebration attendees will have the chance to enter a raffle to purchase it! The set includes Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguises ready to infiltrate the Death Star and rescue Princess Leia. Read on for more details.

 

 

The opportunity to purchase this exclusive set is being raffled off on the Star Wars Celebration website prior to the event for attendees only, beginning now through 12:01AM EST on Thursday, April 6th. All winners will be randomly selected to purchase the exclusive onsite at the LEGO booth next week, and will be notified by April 7th.

    Well, it will sel for 200$ at secondary market then. 40$ is not that much for an exclusive and its better than to get it only at a Lego panel only for the limited number of people. I was not able to get on such panel when i was at SW celeb Europe

    Lego SW sets tend to be about $0.10 to $0.15 per piece, so 220 for $40 is pretty high.
    No Princess Leia? Too soon?
