Ian Kenny To Join The Star Wars: Han Solo Cast.

Sing Street supporting actor Ian Kenny is looking to join the growing ensemble of the Star Wars: Han Solo standalone cast.

From Variety:

Ian Kenny, who broke out with his scene-stealing performance in Sing Street, has joined the ensemble of Lucasfilm’s Han Solo stand alone pic starring Alden Ehrenreich, Variety has learned exclusively. Besides Sing Street, Kenny can also be seen in the British TV series Fair City. He is repped by Untitled Entertainment and United Agents.

Kenny has also appeared in the short film Poxy, and briefly appeared as himself in the crime documentary 24 Hours To Kill. While Sing Street may have put him on the map in the indie scene, Han Solo could be his breakout role provided that he has a notable enough part.

Kenny will be joining a cast that includes Alden Ehrenreich, Joonas Suotamo, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Michael K. Williams.

Calling him a “scene stealer” in Sing Street is a little far fetched. He’s probably got a bright future though.

I think the operative thinking is that if it’s part of the UK, then it’s British. The Scots, Welsh, and Irish can sod off, apparently.

Southern Ireland, where that show is broadcast, is not part of the UK.

HAH! Another Weasley…we know just where to put you! Oops….Wrong series? MY Bad…..MTFBWY! BTW….I loved the idea, Harrison Ford narrating the Han Solo film, if it is done the right way….Flashback from the him to begin movie then intermittent voice overs. Keeps Harrison in the part…..and a little different spin in a SW movie? My colleagues at work don’t think it will work? We will see………

Just curious – Upvoting your own posts?

Do you ever *not* upvote your own posts?
Leaving blank or changing to downvote?

Just curious as this upvoting of one’s own posts seems uncommon & redundant. Wasn’t sure what the mental process is behind using those arrows.

It’s fun. You should try it. No one will judge you for it.

        I promise.

I dunno… I was always told “you’d go blind!” upvoting yourself like that.

Maybe I’ll just do it til I have to wear glasses. 😉
