Battlefront Sequel Will Be A Part Of EA Play.
The next Battlefront will – quite obviously – have a presence at EA’s gaming presentation later this year, the aptly-named EA Play. But not only will gamers attending the event get a look at more new content after Star Wars Celebration Orlando – they’ll be among the first to actually play the game!
EA posted a press release on their official website. The relevant information is here:
We’ve had a lot of fun conversations over the past couple of months about what you’re looking forward to seeing at EA PLAY. We’re all hard at work putting together a great event for everyone, and we’re excited to share today a little more about some of the games you can expect to see in June. So let’s get to it. From June 10 – 12, players joining us in Hollywood will get hands on with the next Star Wars™ Battlefront and Need for Speed™ experiences… Beyond the hands-on experience in Hollywood, we have an extensive content program for our players joining us online. Throughout the three-day event we will be providing you with detailed gameplay deep dives, competitive events and exclusive interviews with the development teams.
Tickets for Hollywood’s EA Play event will become available starting April 20. As SW Game Outpost points out, a recent rumor has suggested that multiplayer will be the focus of EA Play while the single-player campaign is what Celebration Orlando will be all about. We won’t have much longer to wait to figure out if half of the rumor is indeed true.
