New Drone Footage Shows a Better Glimpse of the Millennium Falcon Set in England

Falcon SetThe Millennium Falcon set in Surrey (a county in England) was revealed in another video two weeks ago.  However, GetSurrey recently shared a video on their site of some drone footage with an even better aerial view of the Millennium Falcon set. Hit the jump to watch the video.

As you will see, the Falcon is parked in what looks to be the same parking spot it was in when we last saw it in The Force Awakens. You can also see another set piece close by that may be an entrance to a Resistance base or something of the like. The footage was taken by Andy Patterson.  It’s nothing really new or spoilerific, but is still a nice little 2-minute video to take a look at (If you have trouble watching the video here or if it appears small, just click on the link above to GetSurrey.com).

What would have been really great is if we see the drone getting shot down at the end of the video by another drone with Mickey Mouse ears or “LFL” on the side – but I guess Johnson didn’t make a requisition for any anti-drone technology like his predecessor. Either that, or the army of drones that Disney has reportedly deployed has not yet arrived.

Special thanks to Star Wars Alert for sharing!

I wonder who are the saboteurs of the spy planes? Bothans? MSF and Big Boss? James Bond? John Mallory? Anyone?

Those army of drones are a coming. Like the ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ Apocalypse Now scene.

need to check my copy of Bloodlines, but could the pedestal on the other set be for the statue of Bail Organa? Though I’m pretty sure this was on Hosnian Prime. Could still be for a statue though, maybe for Mon Mothma
