100% agree but the weapons and the new maps look f**king awesome.

We get Lando and Chewie in the next expansion so that should make up for it.

I don’t think both but definitely one of those! They have to do one hero and one villain to balance it out.

Knowing EA and their utter laziness, they’re going to give us the honor of playing as Useless Background Characters #1 and #2.

Greedo’s so OP. He shouldn’t be able to kill anyone.

You’ve gotta buy the Season Pass for $30.

…oh, you did? Well, next you have to buy all the DLC packages, $5 each please.

…did that too? Well, now you have to pay the EA Tax, $10,000 please.

Oop, sorry, we’re shutting the servers down now. Had a great run, team’s very sad, blablabla, see you when we release Battlefront 2: The Search For More Money.

Yeah, I have to say, this horeshit is a huge reason I don’t game much any more. Back in my day, a developer would release a game, and if it took off, maybe an add-on or two down the road – the design cycle was to create a full game first and foremost. Designing a game’s product cycle around intentionally excluding content to be sold separately is bogus, and I won’t reward any company that engages in those shennanigans.

This is why I mostly stick to indies nowadays. I can get a more full experience out of Starbound and FTL than I can get out of Ass Creed or Battlefront. If I’m going for a AAA title I’m steering clear of EA, Ubisoft and Konami, because they’re known to be anti-consumer through and through. I’ll buy from Nintendo, from Bethesda, from Valve, even from Blizzard. Never EA, Ubisoft, or Konami. (With one exception, that being I’ll buy anything by Bioware even though they’re owned by EA, because I think the games they make are incredible and worth every penny.)

The game is seemingly on life support. I tried playing a game the other night and it was only 15% full. that is the best it could place me at. This one is a dead duck.

Well that means the opposite of what you are saying. All the games were currently full and you were going to have to wait to make your own game.

I’ve read that as far as PC gamers are concerned, participation is trailing off. I play on PS4 and there’s usually a good amount of people playing on PSN.

Still not sure why Greedo was even a reasonable choice for a hero, but I’m glad the game is getting new maps, from what I hear, the modes split the maps up so much that if you only like one mode, the game gets really repetitive.

My guess is that they found it fitting to include Greedo due to the maps being located at Jabbas Palace. I would’ve preferred one of the other bounty hunters though.

But, yet interested enough to click on the article, watch the video and post about it. Quite the polar opposite of not interested don’t you think? You talk about waste of time….

Hey, I can see checking out the video to see if you’re interested in what they’re selling. What the hell is it with people who can’t handle a difference of opinion?

There’s a difference between a simple difference of opinion and trolling the internet intentionally looking for things you don’t like just so you can post how much you disapprove. I’m fine when a difference of opinion adds value to the discussion. Trolling is boring to the extreme. The expansion adds new weapons, new maps, new characters and new game play. Play the expansion. If you don’t like it, then you have a right to complain and say it is a waste of time and money. If you’re just an arm chair critic who feels they should have an opinion without experiencing it, just zip it. People tire of reading the complaints. Why spend your time online doing something you don’t like? It seems to be rampant these days.

The creators choices were pretty limited to single scene bounty hunters for villain heros so I don’t mind Greedo but come on Nien Nub was the best we could get? No Chewi, Lando, or Obi!?

Yea I really don’t get how Chewie lando and obi wan got left out. Like wtf?!! At least make wookie a rebel race. They made greedo pretty cool but I wanna play as IG88

The outer rim stuff is cool — It looks amazing. Heroes vs villains is kind of a button mashing mess (at my skill level anyway). The game where Rebels have to get cargo to an extraction point is a great addition — really fun, lots of teamwork. And killing.
