my only small problem with this that it’s country limited. It’s almost that If we’re not from any of the top 5 world countries we don’t count as fans, or we’re less important. Even if we have the best idea for a fan film we can’t submit it, and that’s discriminative.

I agree. They should include other countries, even if they have to create separate competitions.

aggreed. They could just include story group members, rian johnson, even dave filoni, or just some other crew members

Give it to someone you know, who lives in one of the allowed countries, and have them enter it. Don’t know if it would work, just a thought.

I think it has been USA and Canada only so to include more countries this time is great, even if it isn’t the whole world. I’m sure some countries aren’t allowed to enter for various reasons

Like what? That we don’t count as fans or are less important? Thanks a lot.

yeah that’s why your not allowed, cause they don’t care and your not important. Perhaps some countries are not allowed to enter such competitions or American competitions, did you ever give that a thought? Even opening it up to other countries will result in greater number of entries which will take longer to sort through. Don’t know about you but I hate entering competitions that go on forever. In any case, get over it and go make a Star Wars film and post it online. You never know what might happen.
