That’s really interesting. I hope they explain a lot of what happens to the Mandos between III and IV. As well as clear up the inconsitencies between TCW, film, and EU versions.
While we know Death watch to be a splinter group inspired by the former Mandalorians warriors of old, which Satine rejected, I do see the Protectors pulling heavily from the True Mandalorians and Mandalorian Protectors. I hope Jango Fett’s story is somewhat re-canonized, I always saw him as a major anti-hero.
I just got the Bounty Hunter’s Code which came out in 2013 and should be canon but it’s probably not anymore, Hope they at least daw some things from that.
Me too! But Snark, we know they won’t. Why?
23 minutes. They’re killing me. They’ve only had ONE arc this season, I don’t understand why they won’t do more. Are they trying to catch up in the story as to where they want to be after the too short first season? Or do they really think not having an hour of time to tell a more interesting story isn’t worth it anymore.
It’s making my sad face sadder.
Yeah, I think TCW over did it with four part arcs but this new series is definitely lacking in multiple episode ones. My only guess is that they are saving this stuff for the rumored Boba Fett spinoff seeing as how a live-action series isn’t happening anytime soon.
Clan Ren?!!?!?!
Does that make her mother Bo Katan?
Hopefully!
Now… deathwatch wanted to restore traditional mando culture…. these guys seem to follow this idea, yet to them deathwatch are traitors? They better explain this in the next rebels recon
Well, in Canon, the last affiliation Death Watch had was with Darth Maul. Probably something to do with that.
right… didn’t think about that…
Special FX documentary on TFA with lots of new FX reel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G42oiW2EosU&feature=youtu.be
I heard Ren when she stated the house she belonged to. I’m not sure if this is even important. I’m also Not too familiar with Mandolorian history, but I haven’t finished watching The Clone War animated show yet. Trying to finish it on Netflix. I’m only on season 2.
Finish watching TCW and you’ll know a lot more about the mandalorian lore 😉
*Wren*, as in Sabine Wren.
Is it just me or the way she talks about the Mandalorian code sounds like a fusion of CW and expanded universe mixed together a bit? The EU version of Mandalorian culture is much more interesting! Glad they’re using a few elements from there.
Sabine has a nice Gullo
