Star Wars: The Force Awakens – the Millennium Falcon Returns!
The signature Star Wars transport for the heroes of the Original Trilogy is back in business in time for The Force Awakens. Entertainment Weekly recently released a new video showing off some of the changes that were made to the ship, along with some creative decisions about what it took to bring the Corellian freighter back to life.
Grant has been a fan of Star Wars for as long as he can remember, having seen every movie on the big screen. When he’s not hard at work with his college studies, he keeps himself busy by reporting on all kinds of Star Wars news for SWNN and general movie news on the sister site, Movie News Net. He served as a frequent commentator on SWNN’s The Resistance Broadcast.
I want to see her do the Kessel Run in the new trilogy.
Me too, I wonder if she can still do the run in less then twelve parsecs. = P
I like the hair at the end..
lol bothered you too eh? Yeah I dunno why but it drives me nuts. Happens on Colbert’s late show a couple of times and I’m like… dude! Fix your hair!
First thought it was a hair on the screen, but no its a hair on the face. Sounds like that hair will be getting it’s own show soon.
It just kind of sproings out!
I thought they built the falcon in it’s entirety with full interior at pinewood studios and then had the 2/3rds version for on sets away from pinewood?
the falcon interior is sets, they don’t film inside a full size ship.
They should do – imagine if they did a Star Wars experience down the line like the Harry Potter Studio Tour!
I believe the interior dimensions don’t match the exterior dimensions of the ship, again for filming reasons. If they build a full size ship that you could walk around In, it would have to be larger than the full size prop!
True. It would need to be about 50% bigger prop and the cockpit-corridor needs stairs.
I though he was going to talk about the hidden batmobile under the falcon but oh well.
That EW media player is awful. No excuse for that crap in this day and age surely. Feels like 15fps.
I can’t see the video T.T
Don’t cry, you’re the lucky one.
The rest of us are all dumber thanks to this vid.
If there is one thing Star Wars doesn’t need is dumbed down explanations of things.
Can’t for the movie to come out, and can’t wait for this “piece of the pie” crap to die down
Yuck, this annoying twerp again with his 1994 hairdo
really?
Anyone else here but me want to see a Fresher in this new trilogy? We’ve never ever seen one bathroom in a Star Wars film and we’re 7 episodes in!
