And it tastes GOOD! For real though, every bit of footage I’ve seen is so epic and so cool that I can barely handle it!

I was enjoying the episode, but it felt like a two parter that just ended abruptly. There must surely be a continuation before the end of the mid season?

The mid-season finale happening in 4 days? I doubt it.

Apparently, according to Collider, there is no finale in four days.

It had a noticeably slower 2nd Act compared to the opening battle + Inquisitor showdown – They packed A LOT in the 1st 5 min. or so; just lost steam for me, but decent story picking up Ezra’a backstory thread…

What was up with the pacing of this? It seemed like they were trying to shove the Rebel move into Ezra’s episode. It made Ezra’s thing feel way too rushed, and for what? We already knew the Rebels were going to move, and that’s all that happened. Plus, it was really cliched. “We’re all gonna die!” “Go, I’ll stay and fight!” “No, I’ll help you!” “No, go, that’s an order!….I’ve got a crazy, completely impractical idea that probably won’t work…it worked!” *the end*

Yeah, the episode was too quickly paced because they shoehorned in way too much. I really love Rebels, but I often feel the episodes are rushed, which I never felt with TCW. Despite being the same length, that show was much better paced to where it felt longer. It didn’t hurt that all the stories happened in multi-episode arcs, which is what this show is seriously lacking in comparison. I wonder if maybe Disney XD mandated a more episodic approach.

I mostly prefer the episodic nature of Rebels. Especially since TCW tried to be both episodic and multi-parters with each episode having an ending with itself, which would often be frustrating when I would think a story was over and it would just continue the next week.

All hopes for awesome battle on Garel ruined, even destruction of a large Rebel ship felt like unimportant event. Plus why not stretching an Ezra parents plot into two episodes which would make it more important. Now it’s like everything develops and is closed in every episode and they simply don’t feel too connected. That sucks because I really look forward to each episode and still hope the show will get better, it already has, just not enough..

I liked the episode, it was really emotional. I liked the scene when they were pinned down and Ezra kicked Kallus’s ass. He was obviously flirting with the Dark Side – acting out of rage. Hopefully, massage of hope by his parents would stop that particular development.

I liked this episode. I was slightly disappointed that it wasn’t more exciting (since it’s supposed to be the winter finale), but overall it was good.

Winter finale? Where did you read that? It isn’t winter yet, either. The show returns in January.

That’s what it’s called. The mid-season finale is usually also referred to as the winter finale when it comes in December, as it does with most network shows.

I still want to know where we seen The Inquisitor in Clone Wars. I was also expecting a TFA tie-in even though it takes place nearly half a century before.

Yeah, this episode felt really off, which is a shame since I’ve been really enjoying the season so far. In fact, this might be my least favorite episode of the series. It isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either. Though I really did enjoy the fact that Ezra’s parents at least got to hear his broadcast and were likely incredibly proud of him.
