Nice to hear from Anthony Daniels, I wonder how much screen time C-3PO and
R2-D2 will have in this film?

I`m rather distressed by how little we have seen of R2D2 and C3PO in the promo campaign.

They saved galaxy at least two times…

Isn’t the saga supposed to from r2 and 3pos eyes?
Didn’t the whills use R2’s memory banks to write the book of whills.

then you see 3p0 and r2 on jakku and realise that it debunks most of the spoilers you knew. There’s more on Jakku. And then you realise you saw a commercial by reading the comments.

You never see him pick it up as it had to be taped to his hand.

I watched it again last night and still didn’t see it but I also still need to upgrade to Blu-Ray. Surprised Lucas didn’t remove it….unless he already did?

It’s weird how up till now I never really thought of Threepio as Daniels in a suit. Like that shot of him in the Millenium Falcon, it doesn’t come across as him, now matter how much I see Daniels behind the scenes taking the suit on and off, my mind still processes the finished image as being an actual droid. Which is weird. Other behind-the-scenes images haunt me, once seen-never-unseen, like the trench run vs. model with toys pasted in, that jars me, but Threepio has yet to not be convincing for me.

Same with Chewbacca and R2-D2 and so many other things in Star Wars. In fact, there are very few effects in the OT that aren’t unbreakable, IMO.

Peope always trash the Rancor but I bought it due to how grimy he looked and the great sound effects too.
