Star Wars Battlefront Closed Alpha Announced.

Do you want to play Star Wars: Battlefront early? Electronic Arts has just revealed that they are accepting applications for alpha testers for the game on PC only…

Apply for your chance to join the Closed Alpha and help us prepare for the release ofStar Wars™ Battlefront™ starting on November 17, 2015 in North America. Available for Origin on PC only, the purpose of the Star Wars Battlefront Closed Alpha is to perform a number of technical tests that will help the team at DICE as they continue the development of the game.

 

 

To apply for your chance to join a closed alpha of Star Wars Battlefront on PC only, submit the following application HERE.

 

 

Star-Wars-Battlefront

The Battlefront alpha will be available only through EA’s Origin service on PC. The site Polygon received an e-mail from EA with listed the following minimum system requirements for the alpha (not the final Battlefront game):

 

  • CPU: Quad Core CPU e.g. Intel Core i5-2300 @ 2.8 GHz or AMD Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.2 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz
  • RAM: 6 GB
  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit operating system required)
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 with 2 GB of Video Memory

 

Also EA clarified that the purpose of the Star Wars Battlefront Closed Alpha is to perform a number of technical tests that will help the team at DICE as they continue the development of the game.

    should i just keep trying? Is it based on IP location or do they read your PC specs?

      My brother and I have duplicate pc’s and live in the same house. He got in, I did not, even though I applied before him, so idk. Very annoying. Maybe its based on Origin “loyalty.” He’s bought more from them than I have.
