Star Wars Celebration Anaheim: Day 2 Recap!

Celebration 2015With day two of Celebration at an end, now is a better time than ever to recap the last few events that happened.

PRIMARY ARTICLE: Battlefront Details (Part OnePart Two).

The new game will be set entirely in the Original Trilogy era (at least at the launch), although settings from other eras may appear. The game does not feature a single-player campaign, but it does offer a series of missions that can be played cooperatively or by oneself. Planets that appear as battlegrounds include Tatooine, Hoth, Endor, Sullust (the frozen/lava environment), and Jakku (the first DLC pack/free preorder bonus). Players can switch between First-Person and Third Person perspectives mid-match, and can also customize their soldiers. The game will come out in late November of this year.

SECONDARY ARTICLE: The Bad Batch Screening.

Even in an incomplete state, The Bad Batch was some of the most fun I’ve had watching The Clone Wars, complete with some of the funniest lines in the series. Seeing Rex, Anakin, and four mutated Clone Troopers take on a battle on two fronts is just as awesome as seeing Echo and Admiral Trench return.

SECONDARY ARTICLE: Defining Canon.

The Super-Friends of the Star Wars media brain-trust came together to explain how they’re approaching Disney’s take on the setting. Take a look to see which Marvel-created Star Wars character that they want to bring back, the full name of the Battlefront tie-in novel, and when the Lucasfilm Story Group uses Legends works as a reference – along with when they choose to ignore the previous material in favor of something else.

In general, this day was less eventful than the one that preceded it. Nonetheless, more information will be available on Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to keep checking back to this site for more information on the Galaxy Far, Far Away!

The best panel interview from day two was without a doubt Carrie Fishers interview. She is a incredible woman. Funny, charming and pure awesome.

I am far more worried about the lack of space battles or a single player campaign. Games like titanfall and many others that do multiplayer first often fall short so let’s hope that’s not the case with battlefront.

This game has 4 planets. The last battlefront had 16, plus space maps and even a dlc.
They confirmed the game will have five dlc. This means at launch, we will only have half the game. Thats Dice for you people.

Just because four planets appear in the trailer does not mean that is all you are going to get.

I really hope battlefront is good. I’m tired of fps games only caring about online play. Not all of us like to always play online!

Have they confirmed it will be singleplayer? I heard they said the game was focused on online.

One thing that wasn’t mentioned here was the model of BB8 in an X-Wing.

There were a few other things, but can’t really post because it appears that my comments are feeding grounds for deletion.

Here is something nobody seems to be mentioning.

The model of Rey’s speeder bike has the name “Kira” on it.
