This conceptual art is really great, as landscapes, ships and environments from the show. It’s a shame it’s not the same with character’s animation.
Just my opinion
It’s a valid point. It costs no more money to create 2D or non-animated 3D illustrations hence their looking just as impressive as TCW design-work, but the budget’s been reduced for the final animated renderings, notably some elements of character and monsters who now look softer and more comical.
In the first clip when Hera said, “You have to trust me now.” it reminded me of what Ahsoka said before she jumped off the sewer and onto the ship going to the underworld in The Jedi That Knew Too Much
