Final Episodes of ‘Young Jedi Adventures’ Season 1 Coming to Disney Plus on February 14

Young Jedi Adventures, fresh off of winning two Children’s and Family Emmys, is returning on February 14 with six new episodes! With this set to be the final batch of its 25-episode first season, Star Wars has shared a quick 30-second spot previewing the action. High Republic publishing fans will immediately be drawn to one specific moment, setting the stage for what should be a special moment for the core trio of Kai, Lys, and Nubs. Check it out below:

As was just alluded to, the dedication ceremony for Starlight Beacon appears as if it will be featured in the new episodes coming to Disney Plus. This was a moment first seen in Light of the Jedi, the first novel of the High Republic publishing initiative. New to the series is Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh, who can be seen front and center as dozens of lightsabers glow up around her. StarWars.com has revealed that she will be voiced by Justine Lee.

Showrunner Michael Olson teases the final episodes:

“This season has been a whirlwind adventure for our bright-eyed younglings… They’ve grown as Jedi, forged lasting friendships, and outwitted a host of cunning adversaries. Each episode has featured challenges that have helped them grow and continued to shape them in the ways of the Jedi. As they head towards our season finale, Kai, Lys, and Nubs’ thrilling journey aboard Starlight Beacon leads to an epic showdown with Taborr Val Dorn to save one of their new friends.”

Also on the agenda is a trip to meet a Jedi at Black Spire Outpost on Batuu and the return of Bell Zettifar. Yoda, Estala Maru, and more will also return. And will that “epic showdown” lead to an official team-up with Taborr and his goons?

The voice cast includes Juliet Donenfeld as Lys Solay, Dee Bradley Baker as Nubs, Emma Berman as Nash Durango, Trey Murphy as Taborr Val Dorn, Jonathan Lipow as RJ-83, Piotr Michael as Master Yoda, and Nasim Pedrad as Master Zia Zanna. One key difference in the upcoming episodes is in Kai Brightstar. The youngling will continue to be voiced by Jamaal Avery, Jr., but now JeCobi Swain will be lending their voice to the character. Fans will have to wait to see what that voicing change entails.

Young Jedi Adventures will return on February 14 with six new episodes on Disney Plus. They will roll out on Disney Junior over the next few weeks after that point. The first 19 episodes of the series are currently available on Disney Plus.
