Exclusive: ‘The High Republic Adventures’ #2 Previews a Dark Year for Lula Talisola
The High Republic Adventures #2 will hit shelves on January 24, continuing the complicated story of Zeen Mrala and Lula Talisola. Phase 1 of the High Republic publishing initiative brought them together, but fate had different plans. After the fall of Starlight Beacon, Lula was lost, and Zeen was left to pick up the pieces.
In Phase 3’s edition of The High Republic Adventures #1, we catch up with Zeen a year later. She is keeping the faith that Lula and the rest of her missing friends are still alive. Then, a suspicious call came through, sending her and Qort off to Bracront to confront the dangerous Nihil known as Tartak Vil. However, a shocking twist and a frightening new reality awaited them. Lula might not be too far away after all, but conventional storytelling wisdom suggests a happy ending may have to come the hard way.
