SWNN Live! Should Kylo Ren Have Been Redeemed At The End Of ‘The Rise of Skywalker’?
SWNN Live! returned on Thursday with a big discussion on the two big news topics of the week. Brian, Tyler, and myself (Miguel) talked for around 20 minutes about the possibility of The Mandalorian season 4 being turned into a movie, and then moved on to the meat and potatoes of the episode: Adam Driver’s statement on Ben Solo’s redemption not being part of the original pitch for Kylo Ren.
It was a fun talk, where we tried to get to the bottom of what ultimately derailed the sequel trilogy from its thin plans, and also argued whether or not Kylo Ren/Ben Solo’s redemption worked in the movie. We also pitched some alternate scenarios that could have perhaps enhanced and enriched the story told by JJ Abrams and Chris Terrio. Check out the episode here:
