New LEGO Set Descriptions Reveal New Plot Details for Solo: A Star Wars Story

A few days ago Rebelscum discovered several LEGO set descriptions from Solo: A Star Wars Story that gives us a better idea about some of the characters, vehicles, and the plot of the movie. Read on for the details.

The first set is the Imperial Patrol Battle Pack (75207).

Play out Imperial law-enforcing scenarios with this imposing LEGO Star Wars Imperial Patrol Battle Pack. Featuring a speeder with stud shooters, an Emigration Officer, Recruitment Officer and 2 Imperial Patrol Troopers, this Star Wars toy has everything your budding Imperial officer needs to keep their Star Wars minifigure collection under control!

  • Includes 4 minifigures: an Imperial Recruitment Officer, Imperial Emigration Officer and 2 Imperial Patrol Troopers.
  • Features a speeder with a minifigure seat and 2 stud shooters.
  • Also includes 4 stud blasters for the minifigures.
  • This LEGO Star Wars toy is suitable for ages 6-12.
  • Speeder measures over 1 (3cm) high, 5 (13cm) long and 1 (5cm) wide.

If you’re not familiar with exactly which speeder that is, here’s good photo of it from the film’s set at Fawley Power Station:

And here’s a look at the speeder from the Solo teaser trailer:

Since the name of this set is Imperial Patrol and it has patrol stormtroopers (they look like regular stormtroopers but with more black elements on the helmet), it’s obvious that they will not be part of the race we’ve seen in the teaser. It looks like this will be an illegal race on the streets of Corellia and the participants will be chased by local law enforcement.

Also, in case you were wondering about the other two minifigures from this set, we’ve seen them both in the teaser trailer as well.

This is the Imperial Recruitment Officer:

And this is the Imperial Emigration Officer, which looks similar to regular Death Star troopers:

The next set is the Han Solo’s Landspeeder (75209).

Recreate high-speed LEGO Star Wars action scenes from the Han Solo movie with Han Solo’s Landspeeder. Featuring an open 2-minifigure cockpit, opening hood with storage compartment, removable engine, rear storage compartment with secret cargo, hidden wheels for a hover effect and 2 spring-loaded shooters, this action-packed Star Wars toy also includes a Corellian Hound figure for Han and Qi’Ra to battle.

  • Includes Han Solo and Qi’Ra minifigures, plus a Corellian Hound figure.
  • Features an open 2-minifigure cockpit, opening hood with ammo and accessory storage, removable engine, rear storage compartment with secret cargo, hidden wheels for a hover effect, and 2 spring-loaded shooters.
  • Remove the engine for a much-needed overhaul.
  • Also includes 2 blaster pistols.
  • Play out epic Han Solo movie chase scenes with 75210 Molochs Landspeeder!
  • This LEGO Star Wars toy is suitable for ages 7-12.
  • Measures over 1 (5cm) high, 6 (16cm) long and 3 (10cm) wide.

We’ve all seen this speeder multiple times during the filming in Hampshire and from the teaser trailer.

As we know Han and Qi’ra will be using this speeder early in the movie racing through the streets of Corellia. What’s interesting here is that the set comes with a Corellian hound figure which they will have to battle. This doesn’t necessarily mean they will do that in the movie, but we know we will at the very least see these vicious hounds in the film. Here’s how the Corellian hounds will look via Pablo Hidalgo’s Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide:

Next we have the Moloch’s Landspeeder (75210).

Recreate action-filled scenes from the Han Solo movie with this LEGO Star Wars Moloch’s Landspeeder set. The infamous gang leaders vehicle features an open minifigure cockpit, storage hold at the rear and hidden wheels for a cool hover effect. This Star Wars toy also has a 6-stud rapid shooter for intense action play, and an opening cage to hold the 2 Corellian Hound figures to add an extra dimension of battling fun for any LEGO Star Wars fan!

  • Includes Moloch and Rebolt minifigures, plus 2 Corellian Hound figures.
  • Features an open minifigure cockpit, opening cage for the hounds, rear storage hold, multi-stud shooter and hidden wheels for a hover effect.
  • Also includes Molochs blaster pistol and Rebolts whip.
  • Play out epic Han Solo movie chase scenes with 75209 Han Solo’s Landspeeder!
  • This LEGO Star Wars toy is suitable for ages 8-12.
  • Measures over 2 (6cm) high, 6 (16cm) long and 4 (11cm) wide.

You probably remember this bulky speeder from the filming at Fawley Power Station and of course the Solo teaser trailer:

This set provides us with important info about who Moloch is. It appears he is a gang leader and the fact that his speeder is called “infamous” leads me to believe he is perhaps the champion of these illegal races, similar to Sebulba from The Phantom Menace.

There are already listings on EBay selling this minifigure and you can check it out below from the embedded link from imgur:

Moloch LEGO figure in the wild

Now that I am revisiting the old photos from the shoot at Fawley Power Station, I just realised that we’ve actually seen Moloch on one of them. Check this out:

If you still can’t see it, here’s a comparison with the minifigure:

It’s really funny that he was in front of our eyes the whole time and we never noticed him.

The other minifigure – Rebolt with a whip! This combined with the info that Moloch’s speeder has cages with Corellian hounds, may actually answer the question I asked before. How will Han and Qi’ra be battling Corellian hounds? Well obviously Moloch and more precisely Rebolt (who seems to be something like a beastmaster) will unleash the hounds on them. Perhaps the creatures are very fast and even a match for Han’s speeder. We can’t wait to see this go down if it ends up in the movie. I hope this is not just for the LEGO sets!

Next we continue with the Imperial TIE Fighter (75211).

Engage the enemy with the LEGO Star Wars Imperial TIE Fighter! This brick-built version of the Empires iconic attack craft has a highly detailed design, including sturdy wings, opening minifigure cockpit and access hatch, and 2 spring-loaded shooters. This great Star Wars toy also includes 4 minifigures, including Han Solo and his accomplice Tobias Beckett.

  • Includes 4 minifigures: an Imperial Pilot, Han Solo, Tobias Beckett (in Mimban Stormtrooper disguise) and a Mimban Stormtrooper.
  • Features a highly detailed design including sturdy wings, opening minifigure cockpit and access hatch, plus 2 spring-loaded shooters.
  • Weapons include a blaster pistol, blaster, blaster rifle and Tobias Becketts 2 special blasters.
  • Recreate epic Han Solo movie action scenes or dream up your own.
  • This LEGO Star Wars toy is suitable for ages 9-14.
  • Measures over 9 (23cm) high, 7 (20cm) long and 7 (19cm) wide.

Surprisingly that LEGO is going for the regular TIE Fighter here. There are already numerous releases with the regular TIE and it seems like a missed opportunity that they didn’t go for the new one we’ve seen in the teaser trailer:

The most interesting info from this set is that we will see yet another mission in disguise in a Star Wars movie. This time Han Solo and his mentor Tobias Beckett will infiltrate the Empire dressed as Mimban Stormtroopers. The Mimban Stormtrooper looks like a regular trooper but with a camouflage suite.

We then go to the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon (75212).

Travel with Han Solo, Chewbacca and their friends with the LEGO Star Wars Kessel Run Millennium Falcon. This LEGO brick version of the iconic Corellian freighter from the Han Solo movie features a 2-minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy, 2 spring-loaded shooters, sensor dish, ramp, rotating top and bottom laser turrets with 2 gunner seats, plus a detachable escape craft. This amazing Star Wars toy also features opening hull plates for easy access to the detailed interior, which includes a cargo area with couch and Dejarik hologame table, bar, bunk, missile storage compartment, and a buildable hyperdrive with repair tools. Also includes 6 minifigures and a DD-BD droid.

  • Includes 6 minifigures: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Qi’Ra, Lando Calrissian, Quay Tolsite and a Kessel Operations Droid, plus a DD-BD droid.
  • Features a 2-minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy, 2 spring-loaded shooters, sensor dish, ramp, rotating top and bottom laser turrets with 2 minifigure gunner seats, detachable escape craft and opening hull plates for easy access to the detailed interior.
  • Interior includes a cargo area with 2 containers, navigation computer, couch and Dejarik hologame table, a bar, bunk, missile storage compartment, and a hyperdrive with repair tools.
  • Weapons include 2 blaster pistols, a blaster rifle and Landos blaster.
  • Also includes electrobinoculars.
  • Open up the hull plates and play out adventures from the Han Solo movie inside.
  • Play Chewbacca at Dejarik but remember he’s a sore loser!
  • This LEGO Star Wars toy is suitable for ages 9-14.
  • Measures over 4 (11cm) high, 18 (48cm) long and 11 (30cm) wide.

We’ve discussed this set a lot in the past. It’s actually the only officially revealed set so far. The most interesting info here is the detachable escape craft, which gives the Falcon that specific new look, but we’ve discussed that before.

We didn’t get any new info on two of the more interesting minifigures from this set – the alien Quay Tolsite and the droid DD-BD. Hope to get more on them in the future.

Finally we have two buildable toys from lego. Han Solo (75535).

Play out exciting adventures with this highly posable LEGO Star Wars Han Solo buildable figure. Same here. Given the article above, I’m now honestly hoping Hasbro goes the extra mile and includes some nice (neodymium?) magnets in his boots, to counter for the lack of ankle articulation. Also because magnets.

We named our Galaxy of Heroes guild “Shadowolves” a few years ago, mostly because it sounded cool but also in honor of Wolf Squadron. Little did we realize this term would later be used by white nationalists to describe vigilantes who take it upon themselves to deport and report immigrants, and that Steven Seagal, who can apparently both read and write, wrote a book titled, “The Way of the Shadow Wolves: The Deep State and the Hijacking of America” that just got released. Cool. Cool cool cool. 0_0

I think the Mimban Stormtrooper is meant to be a regular Stormtrooper but their armor is stained with mud. Because the environment they’re working in is muddy. That’s why they wear capes — it’s to ward off excessive mud sticking to their armor.

Furthermore, their helmets have blast shields bolted to the foreheads. And they wear canvas Shoretrooper shoes.

So they’re normal Stormtroopers with a few add-ons. Like how the Sandtroopers are Stormtroopers with a few add-ons.

I would be more excited about these aliens if I knew for sure they will have more than five seconds of screen time.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Moloch, Rebolt and the hounds only appear in a street race sequence in the first 10 minutes. But practically speaking that’d be significant enough.

Star Wars has always had wonderful background characters who’ve ended up having toys, comics, stories told about them ( even the most insignificant characters ).
I suppose what we don’t want is a repeat of Captain Phasma, who was hyped to the Nth degree outside of the films, only to end up as very minor, non-essential character INSIDE the films.

I so wanted her to matter. I think maybe that’s my problem. I want this deep insight as to why these people are doing the things they do… and Star Wars is more action orientated. AKA aint nobody got time for that.

I just like all the players on the stage to have a purpose. Not two dimensional. I had really hoped the FO would be further explored.

I think sometimes people took the “Oh god, no more politics!” from the PT era a little too much to heart.
