I’m subscribed on Comixology already but it all depends on how the first few issues turn out.

In an era of comics geared to mostly teenagers and adults – I have to say I’m excited to introduce my son to the world of Star Wars comics with this series. I let him read the Kanan series, but although he said he liked it, I could tell some of it was a little over his head. This will be more his speed.

That is one thing I will give LucasFIlm in appealing to youngsters when it comes to this NC. And really, as an uncle; I am happy that I can see my nephews taking part in SWs.

So will each issue be a standalone adventure jumping between eras and characters (eg issue 1 Rey then issue 2 Darth Maul etc).

Or will it be say 6 issues of Rey, then another 6 issues.

Marvel still publishes all the main comics, this IDW deal is just for these “all-ages” comics.

So whats the deal with IDW publishing? If you’re gonna make an extra-marvel comic deal…why not Dark Horse?

Probably because Dark Horse is only interested in publishing adult comics, but Marvel does that now.

Clearly inspired by the Clone Wars ones from a decade ago or so.
