trbep49image_zpsmhdwjgof

On this episode of The Resistance Broadcast we answer all your questions and give our honest opinions on the good, bad, and dirty layers of the Star Wars universe and try to make some sense of it all. We did this all in good fun of course. We hope you can send us future questions to answer more mail bag related content. On this episode we also cover the recent episode of Rebels, “The Wynkathu Job”, as well as the upcoming episode “Inside Man” where we bring back a key character to fight another day and maybe learn some more ties regarding Lothal. This is a very Rogue One heavy episode, so strap in your U-Wing seat and enjoy the ride.

Listening to the segment regarding Rey being Luke’s daughter and fan’s response to that. I won’t hate them being related overall, but the problem I have is why would Luke leave Rey on such a horrible place like Jakku at such a young age? Especially leaving her in the care of Unkar Plutt. The ONLY way I can resolve this issue is if Rey was born without Luke even knowing he had a daughter. I have my own pet theory for Rey’s lineage that I’ve posted in the Cantina, but I just have that one really sticky point with Luke being Rey’s dad, as it just comes across like Luke would be such a horrible father.

I’m not sure on that issue, but one thing is for sure: Luke ditched Leia in the novels Bloodlines and Aftermath 2 without any explanation. So at least we know he’s a horrible brother.

I’ll never look at Chopper the same way again…
