New TV Spot “Trained to Fight” Features Possibly Another Alternate Take

saw-poster

Yet another 30-second TV Spot of Rogue One has arrived, highlighting scenes that include Orson Krennic and more from Cassian Andor and his droid side-kick K-2SO. However, just like last week’s clip that featured an all-new alternate take of the infamous “I Rebel” scene, we caught yet another interesting change. Read on for more!

We’re less than 20 days away from the highly anticipated premiere of Rogue One, and another new TV spot “Trained to Fight” has been unleashed. This time we noticed an interesting change that seems to have taken place while Gareth Edwards did his final editing of ‘Rogue One’. Directors tend to tinker with their films switching out and using different takes up until a few weeks or even days before its release. So this is a practice that is widely used.

A few days ago we noticed that there was an alternate take used for the “I Rebel” scene. This time, it looks like a different take was used in the Saw Gerrera “Save the Rebellion, Save the dream” scene. Please note, that the planet also giving way in the background (just like in the earlier take) for those who think it could be a completely different scene. Although possible, it’s highly doubtful that SAW would yell “save the rebellion” twice in one film.

i didn’t mind the original take, if this is in fact a new one, but this feels really strong.
