Closer Look at Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series “Jyn Erso” Figure!
Yesterday during the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story panel at Celebration Europe, actress Felicity Jones revealed Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series “Jyn Erso” action figure — the first of new “Rogue One” products to be seen publicly. Jones was welcomed to the action figure club by panel host Gwendoline Christie, who plays Captain Phasma in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
You probably remember the #Where’sRey campaign from last year, which was started after the lead female character from “The Force Awakens” was excluded from several licensed Star Wars sets and games. It seems this will not be the case this time around, after the first officially revealed figure from the upcoming Rogue One movie is the female lead character.

The action figure will go on sale later this year along with a variety of all new “Rogue One” products celebrating the characters and storytelling from the movie.

Yikes. This figure looks nothing like Felicity Jones. Does Lucasfilm not give Hasbro enough of a budget to sculpt and paint these Black Series figs properly anymore?
