New Force for Change Video: Meet Mark Hamill at Star Wars Celebration 2016!
The biggest Star Wars party is about to begin in Europe with Star Wars Celebration coming July 15-17, 2016. In a tweet earlier today Star Wars Celebration officially announced that Mark Hamill is coming to this year’s event. Now StarWars.com posted new Force for Change video giving you the chance to win tickets for Celebration and meet Luke Skywalker himself

The Star Wars filmmakers want fans to be a Force for good. Disney and Lucasfilm, along with Bad Robot, the production company owned by TFA director J.J. Abrams, continues with the Star Wars: Force of Change initiative on Tuesday.
The initiative aims to “find creative solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems.” The program helps create sustainable solutions to major issues facing children in the areas of nutrition, water, health and education, Lucasfilm said in a previous press release.
Hamill appears in a video posted online this morning to announce the top fundraiser for Star Wars: Force for Change will have the chance to win two tickets to Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 in London and will also get to meet the Jedi himself. Hamill said selfies, a walk on the beach, or anything legal and in the boundaries of good taste are possible.
In addition, Star Wars: Force for Change will match the donations of Star Wars fans to four selected charities up to $1 million until May the 4th.

Was hoping for the Thousand Parsec Stare again, but Hamill saying MTFBWY and referencing ‘I Love Lucy’ is much better. IMO, he’s got cooler geek cred than Wil Wheaton. Weasley certainly tried to be Luke, onscreen and off…but there can be only one Sky…walk…er. I’m already jealy of the winner.
“The top fundraiser” wins.. if everyone on this site pooled their money together, we could win this contest! Then, when it comes time to meet Mr Hamill, we all just turn up. He’s a cool guy – it’s not like he’s going to say no, is he? 🙂
