UPDATE! Rogue One Costumes Displayed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair

blog-tradeshow-banner-toyfairThe guys from JediNews noticed several photos posted on twitter with costumes from Rogue One that will be on display at the Nuremberg toy fair in Germany.

The Nuremberg toy fair begins tomorrow, but obviously some anxious fans managed to grab some photos before the official start of the event. Here are the tweets with the images:

From the Rogue One cast photo you can immediately tell that in the photo above you see Diego Luna’s costume (left), Donnie Yen’s costume (right) and Felicity Jones’ costume (middle).

The other photos are just different takes on these 3 costumes. Could this mean that these are our three main characters in the movie? Who knows…

Not very exciting but it fits in with the OT aesthetic.

Costumes are boring in my opinion.
      I like PT-style costumes more.

Ah yes, the crazy, extravagant costumes that are in no way practical for anyone in an action movie to wear. To each his own, I guess.

Wouldn’t be very Rebellion/Imperial if they weren’t. The saga films are where they can get creative if they want.

Palpatine and the Jedi….the only important characters….don’t change costumes in the PT….basically at all.

Simple, fun, and uncomplicated. They definitely captured the classic OT aesthetic.

I have a feeling the hype machine is just starting up. TFA is done, now they can start pushiong our attention and wallets towards Rogue One. Awesome ! Imagine if we were waiting for Ep8 end 2017 !!

    Great costumes!
This weekend in Barcelona there will be an interactive Star Wars exposition.
I think it’s more like get on a speederbike, costumes from PT and OT and something like that. There is no so much information about it.
I think it will be not so huge.
In any case if there is interesting RO stuff i will share it, but i really doubt it.

I would like to see more variation of Imperial officers, who are bound to appear in R1.
White costume appearing in ANH Death Star conference scene is cool.

The costumes look so plain. But then again, so did the majority of the costumes in the OT. I wish we went back to the PT era gowns and aesthetics.

Yeah, Let’s have a strike team infiltrate the Imperial base and steal the Death Star plans dressed in light-up Naboo gowns and kimonos. And then they can change into new ones every 5 minutes.

The “Final Rogue 1 Costume unveiled this morning” from the update looks like it may go with the dingy pale yellow helmet in that pic of the three helmets that Donnie Yen leaked awhile back.

It looks cool, but kinda plain tbh. They look like something you might see in real life, minks the blaster. But maybe I’m wrong. If the heroes mission is to be undercover, than they wouldn’t want to stand out

They look exactly like something you’d see in the OT. Simple and practical, and something real people could wear.

Finally, something of historical impact happens in Nuremberg.

    Looks pretty popular though. Getting through that crowd could be quite a trial . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I’ll see myself out.
