Let’s hope these 2 keep a good chemistry for a good long time.

Also, the ones who think the interview might not convince you in being hyped for the movie, to the corner please.

Hype Thrusters have been engaged for over a year, I’ve reached maximum hype up to the point I want to be comatose only to wake up at the 10am screening at my local theater.

Based on the articles landing on SWNN, GMA have managed to line up pretty much the entire cast and crew for interview during past few days… i’m expecting a Times Square visit by BB8 to voice it’s opinion before the week is done!

They’re so bloody likeable! Let’s hope it translates onto the screen and that they don’t lose that enthusiasm for whatever work they do.

These two are so, so cute. I could watch them all day – if it’s possible, they make me even more excited for the film.

Indeed. I hope their roles in the films have positive repercussions for their career in general.

What John Boyega said: “It’s so good, it’s so good… full of action, full of passion, and quite emotional…”.

What some people will interpret that as: “Not nearly as good as the OT, more Transformers 3 than The Empire Strikes Back. It’s a turkey, don’t touch it with a barge pole. I’d rather be circumcised with a rusty spoon than resit through that steaming pile of turd. Somebody call my agent”.

Personally, I’ve yet to see John Boyega in anything, but the more I see him being interviewed, the more I like him.

These people still remained with bitterness after the prequels. Let’s just hope that the film will calm them down in regards to the quality of the films.

These films will. There’s enough OT references and practical effects to keep em happy.

You can see the genuine excitement in their faces when the interviewer says “You’ve seen the movie”. If it were the slightest bit bad or questionable, I don’t think they would have had the same reaction.

Daisy Ridley’s already confirmed to be in VIII. John Boyega’s all BUT confirmed.

JJ says a lot of things.. lol. Some of which are flat out lies to protect the spoils of a film. You can’t always go off of what the director says, especially early on in dev. process.

I really hope Finn becomes a super bad ass Jedi because John Boyega deserves it. When he goes up against Kylo in Episode 8, I think there will be a different outcome.

As much as i think Finn will make a cool Jedi, i would rather have an excellent story line 1st. If the plot fits in well i have no problem with it.

These two are BEYOND the word cool.

You can tell by how much they looked at each other and smiled that they really developed a friendship for each other. It’s so weird to me that JJ had to stop filming to tell Daisy she was “wooden”. All the behind the scenes stuff I’ve seen, John and Daisy are laughing or smiling, it seems like his personality/friendship possibly helped her to loosen up.

I buy it, because there is also reports that she had to be taken aside and coached for public appearances. I have a feeling they saw that Boyega was able to put her at ease and relax so she does most press with him because of that. If the reports of her being coached are true anyway.

Wow, didn’t know that. If true makes sense. This is her first major film and “major” to describe this new Star Wars film is obviously an understatement.

just in case nobody noticed, john spoke towards the end about “being on set” in january while daisy is getting her degree. daisy then responds by saying “i’ll be there sometimes.” abrams said in an interview that filming is supposed to take place in january.. i know we all obviously assume both characters are confirmed for epsiode VIII, but now we know for sure!!

Confirmed that Boyega is in Episode 8. Filming starts in January. Also fuel to speculation that Ridley spends most of Episode 8 in training and away from the other stars, and the reason they’re looking for a new female lead

    • December 2, 2015 at 10:37 pm
      Permalink

If Rey is to spend most of the time in training, does it mean we will see Luke less with others as well? Since he is prolly her trainer. O_O I really wanted Luke to be out there you know like mingle with the outside world.

      • December 3, 2015 at 3:50 am
        Permalink

I’m not sure exactly, I thought maybe Luke wants to wait until Rey is ready, and then they both return to action to help the others.. but it seems alittle cruel and selfish for Luke to do something like that. Unless Finn is also being trained, and the Resistance is aided by the New Republic in Episode 8 giving the new heroes time to train.

I have a weird theory thats unlikely to happen, but it would be cool if Finn lost both of his hands to Kylo Ren, while Finn is holding the saber, and then Kylo takes the saber and retreats. The SNL skit when Boyega is reading the lines “The force is controlled through the eyes” (or something like that) could actually be his lines. Maybe he loses both hands and Maz Kanata teaches him how to use the force in a different way, with his eyes, and thats why she trains him.

It looks like an no-budget affair. The Force Awakens may be her first paid role.

First starring role for sure but a film is a film even if you are left on the cutting room floor. I guess it makes for a better story far as the PR team is concerned.

Daisy was too busy analyzing herself during the movie. That’s why she didn’t remember the movie as a whole. That’s cool she’s studying psychology.

John says the movie “Is so good.” When I say It’s so good I usually mean it’s just good and not great. Just saying…

I’m afraid that what Boyega means when he says the film is “full of
passion” and “quite emotional” is “Chewbacca dies in Act Three, please
    don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

I’ve been thinking about this for a couple days now and the more I think about it the more it seems likely.

Remember how Boyega asked JJ Abrams if Abrams thought people would like the film, but said regardless “there will definitely be a reaction.” That sounds to me like he’s afraid people will be so pissed the wookie died that they will hate the film.

Also that line in the trailer “Hope is not lost today.” Seems ominous. Plus, doesn’t it look like Chewie that Rey is crying over in the snow?

I think killing Chewie off will probably help make TFA a good film. I
just hope most people don’t get so upset about the death that it ruins
    the movie for them.
