    *Episode VIII promo*

DAISY: I’ve been waiting for you, Jimmy Fallon. We meet again at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the Master.
JIMMY: Only a master of drinking.

Daisy and John are a couple of cuties. Daisy is sweet and John is very charming. I cannot wait to see them on big screen. 13 DAYS, people!

Daisy is absolutely adorable and totally endearing! John seems very cool and charismatic. Great people to be the new face of Star Wars!

What strikes me as I watched these clips is how young they both seem! I was 5 years old when A New Hope came out, so even Luke and Leia seemed like full grown adults to me, and always have, even though I know Carrie Fischer was only, what, 17 years old when they filmed it. Now I am in my 40s and these two seem so young!!!

What’s creepy about what he said? He is just pointing out that they seem young relative to his age and experience as a Star Wars fan. It’s not like he’s fawning over them.

If anything, you sound like kind of an ass. Sorry to point that out.

Sorry if the truth hurts. Gotta call out a creeper when I see one.

You sound like the creeper “Bruh”. And a trollish one at that. Millenials can’t get their narcissistic faces out of their phones long enough to do anything globally productive. I’m sure your well paying job is well paying because mommy and daddy aren’t charging you any rent right now for basement occupancy.

Nah bruh, I have my own place, and I’m paying it on my own. I’m also happily married now to my wonderful wife. Nice try though.

I doubt she’s that happy with such a loser as a husband. I mean, I might want to check your debit card history braj. I hear that’s the best way to tell if your wife is sleeping with the plumber.

Wow, I was thinking opinongiver was a douche, now I see everyone here is. Fuck you buddy. What have Gen X’s done except let their mommy’s and daddy’s make all the decisions the last 50 years? It’s your fucking fault the county is shit, and yet all you have to say for yourselves when we bring up that fact is “Isn’t gunna be my problem.” Maybe we are narcistic, but atleast we’re not just a bunch of whiny, lazy, underachieving, welfare abusing, drug addled, politically apathetic, pushover dickweeds who fall back on the age old middle age stereotype of becoming “saved,” and suddenly turning into a bunch of ultra-conservative morons who want to vote a billion dollar “every man” into office so that they can continue to blame a younger generation that has only had its full voting power for the past 4 years for all their problems.

What is creepy about what I said? I said Daisy is adorable and John is charismatic. Others have said they are “cuties”, “sweet”, “charming” and you didn’t call them creepy. I don’t think I said anything different.

If it is the age difference, that was a totally unrelated point and by no means was I saying “Oh, I want to molest that young boy/girl!”

Bruh, you mentioned you’re in your 40’s and the young-need of both Daisy and John. I’m sure you were fixated on Daisy when you commented about their ages and your age. You’re done man, your cover has been blown!

            You’re just projecting. Weirdo.

First of all, I was not fixated on Daisy at all. My comments are about both Daisy and John. Second, I imagine quite a few people who look at this website are in their 40s, since we were the young impressionable generation that were blown away when SW first came out. I guess if anyone in their 40s compliments Daisy in any way, someone like you would call them a creep. That’s sad, really.

My comments about my age relative to theirs is an observation about how I perceive the world as I am getting older. They remind me more of my own children than of myself these days, which fits in perfectly with the overall story of SW being about generations of family. It is a way that I can relate to the saga from a different perspective these days, considering my hopes and dreams for my own children. Perhaps some day you will be mature enough to understand that.

Dude, don’t feel the need to justify yourself by feeding this troll.

Your comments and opinions are just fine, and shared by many of us from the old guard.

Hah, the old guard. Screw that!

Gen X’ers will not be ruling the world soon. The age of when us Millennials will take over the word is coming. Your time is done, both in SW fandom and as influential people of the world. And if that’s not clear to you now, it will be soon enough.

I’m a 29-year-old Millennials with a well-paying job. I don’t need some old mad giving me advice. Yeah, SW is about passing things down to the next generation (so learn to let go when the time comes).

And yeah, it doesn’t take too much these days to be called out as a creeper (like the way you commented).

Just giving you some advice on public speaking, that’s all. Have a nice day you old and out-of-touch-with-society Gen X’er.

Pretty much the only creepy thing we can infer from this is that you have a weird obsession with visualizing 40 year old men with young women. You’re pretty gross and your attitude just reeks of having a backwards, and sheltered life. You do a disservice to your fellow millennials by trying to lump them in with the stale piece of toast you obviously are.

I love Daisy. You can see why they code named her Kira during production. She is a Keira Knightly clone.

Interesting. I had never thought about this before, but now that you mention it I can see the resemblance between Daisy and Keira. I wouldn’t call her a clone, but there is a similarity.

I like how Carrie Fisher doesn’t care what other people think, and just says whatever she wants. I can see why some people might not like that type of personality but I think it’s refreshing.
