Well, our house has two bathrooms and my wife and I mainly use the one in our room and my son uses the one in the hallway. It’s not technically “his” as we all use it at times, but I might get away with putting one in there. I couldn’t see my wife wanting it in ours. 🙂

JJ will direct one but will supervise/produce/write as many afterwards as possible. Disney would need to do a lot of convincing for him to do a future one. If TFA is a hit then I would love for him to direct ep. 9, but I also want a different director for each movie in the spirit of the original trilogy. Then again, don’t fix what ain’t broken. I’m torn :/

Um, are you guys on the wrong article or something? Everyone’s just repeating “JJ will just do this one”

Saving the environment is awesome and I love high pressure – but – these showerheads look downright stupid. R2 is okay, I’d go with that one, but the darth Vader is just quashed and weird.
And there’s no Ackbar – SHAME.

But back to the strange problem plaguing this comment thread:

It is weird how there are 30+ comments dedicated to such a simple correction to a question NO ONE ASKED.
    Just – what?

We need some Twilight Zone music because this is freaking the shit out of me.

He aged more than Obama during his two presidencies.

Even if TFA was a hit, he wouldn’t direct again. Also, I think he might want to copy the scheme of the OT, which wasn’t directed by a single director.

So JJ will direct TFA only.

If he feels up to the task and TFA turns out to be a success with the fans (which I think that’s what he’s waiting on before he makes any decision)..he might come back to direct the finale and close the story he started.

Colin Trevorrow is directing Episode IX, Yes the guy who directed Jurrasic World. I saw JW, only watched because of Episode IX. Not sure what to say, I hope he brings his A game.

Yea I hope he does a good job and I’m kind of looking forward to seeing just how he intends on closing this triolgy. But the reason I said Abrams may return is due to the fact that IX is 4 years away and a lot can change from now till then. Perhaps Colin backs down or Disney decides to do something different. Having set directors for big franchises such as Star Wars years before release doesn’t guarantee much.

Guys, what’s with the discussion of the directing of the ST movies? We all know JJ is directing 1 only, TFA, and it’s been confirmed that Rian Johnson is directing VIII and Colin Trevorrow is directing IX. At this point, unless something were to happen (a la Josh Trank exiting an anthology), this shouldn’t even be a discussion.

Furthermore, if you go to Wikipedia and search “Star Wars” you’ll see that Johnson is the writer for 8 and 9 (story by Johnson for 9 as well), Kennedy and Ram Bergman as the producers for both those movies, and Abrams as the executive producer for both of them as well.

I don’t see JJ directing any more Star Wars films after The Force Awakens, but I hope he contonues to contribute with his producing and writing abilites, as I think he has proven (so far) to be the right guy for the job of Star Wars Caretaker. (After Ms. Kennedy, of course!)
