I could care less about the Battlefront game considering how it’s painfully lacking in content, but it does look absolutely gorgeous.

Same. I imagine this game might not be enough for the most hardcore gamers that put hours and hours into the game a day. I work alot so when I have free time I play a round of each game mode and have an absolute blast and my Star Wars fix.

If you enjoy it then more power to you. I personally can’t bring myself find enjoyment out of it since there isn’t much to do in the game and I can’t support it in general since it embodies all of the bad business practices plaguing the video game industry by cutting content out of the game only to sell it later as overpriced DLC.

I 100% agree on the practices that is why I didn’t buy the DLC. I like online shooters so it has barely enough for me to justify the purchase. Also like you said, it is the most gorgeous Star Wars game ever made. I literally find myself just walk around looking at the environments.

Well, go ahead and throw away the phone that you probably texted your reply on since it was built on the back of slave labor. And i guess you should take the money out of your bank account since your bank has almost certainly engaged in predatory practices. Oh, while your at it, go ahead and get rid of that car you drive everyday because that too, sadly, was built on the principal of obsolescence. There is whole lot of bad shit on the planet if you choose to find it. You gotta admit, it’s a little laughable where you’ve chosen to draw the line. If you can’t find joy in something as awesome as hopping into Han Solo’s boots and doing God’s good work, than you sir don’t deserve it. Lighten up and enjoy what little good we get.

I’m talking about Star Wars: Battlefront. That’s it. I’m sorry that I don’t want to buy a quarter of a lackluster game for full retail price and then spend another $50 on DLC that should have been included in the game from the start. I’m not “drawing a line” anywhere. I acknowledge that bad things go on in this world, but that’s not at all what this conversation is about.

The fact hat you’re “only talking about battlefront” is actually exactly my point. You see, you support awful business practices dozens of times daily. Yet you seem to have arbitrarily decided that battlefront, of all things, is where you cry foul. You have to see how empty and hollow a gesture that is when taken in a grander context. But, at the end of the day, it’s your stance to take…..so have at it. May the force be with you.

P.s. – you’re really missing out. It really is a great nod to star wars fans.

To be fair, you know nothing about me so who are you to say what I do and don’t support? And I have played this new incarnation of Battlefront and as a huge fan of Star Wars, I don’t think I’m missing out on anything. It has great graphics and sound design, but that’s the highest praise it deserves. Gameplay-wise and content-wise it’s dull and offers up nothing new.

To be fair, I only commented on the fact that you clearly don’t support EA’s business practices. You have made your opinion on this matter abundantly clear. I never made any assumptions about any other opinions you may or may not have.

You should go back and read your first reply to me then because you mentioned a lot of things that have absolutely nothing to do with what was being discussed regarding EA and Battlefront.

I think the fact that you use a phone and a car and have a bank account are pretty safe assumptions to make. Would you not agree?

Perhaps. Though I don’t have a car or a bank account at the moment.

I agree, it’s a very nice looking game but I found there to be very little content. I’ll wait until it goes on sale in a year or two, it’ll be just as fun then and I won’t feel ripped off.

Whoops. My bad. I always get that expression wrong. Sometimes I hear people say “I could care less” and other times I hear “I couldn’t care less”. It gets confusing. “I couldn’t care less” make the most sense, though.

One of the rebel soldiers can be heard saying “If it’s the last thing I do, I’m gonna turn one of them big, bad Imperial Walkers into my future daughter’s home, damn it! My wife and I should be ready in about 5 years! She wants to name her Rey!!!!!”

The ceo of EA said that the future starwars games will have no moive tie ins. Meaning F u just give us money and shoot at each other with visuals that look like star wars. There is no room for immersion in this game. Luke wears his Rotj garb on hoth. They should watch the movies and pay close attention. Luke was leading rogue squadron against the walkers not on ground support. SO stupid.

Light sabers don’t cut anything in half ether they are just base ball bats.

Now if they just make the next game look this good but actually have a story, I will snatch that up, but $60 is just too pricy for a game I’ll play for 4 hours and get bored.

Firstly i truly don’t know if this is legit article or EA paid advertisement.

Secondly i would experienced if there WAS A STORY !!!!!!

Not just running around like headless chicken and have burning star destroyer in background. Same effect i achieve with wallpaper on my PC screen.
