Can we expect trailer this time ? Any info of Anthology films ?

Do the math! We just got a look at behind the scenes of day 1 at SDCC! Star Wars trailer #1 came out November of 2014; then, trailer #2 came out SIX MONTHS LATER in April of 2015! Don’t force the third one before October of 2015 as everyone readies themselves in costumes for Holloween and haunted stories! It will still be 2 months before the movie, still yet to go! Then will you expect a fourth 2 minute trailer, afterwards!?

I want their focus to be only explaining all we have seen in trailers and productions! THEN! VIDEO GAMES and all the futuristic theatre experiences and viewing/listening technologies – LIKE THE ARTICLE SUGGESTS! I personally can wait now for DEC 18th for any other TFA hinting footage! VIVA LV and what goes to LV stays in LV for additional TFA SPOILAGE!

That may work for you but don’t forget that these movies aren’t made just for SW fans only. Yeah, BTS footage is fine and whatnot but to get the general mainstream masses enticed more, releasing another trailer (possibly a theatrical trailer now) will be a wise move. The secrecy has gotten ridiculous now.

I wouldn’t expect a fourth trailer afterwards. I would however expect TV spots and 15 second ads on social media just like and film these days. That type of marketing happens typically within the month leading up to the release. The trailer is definitely coming as D23.

I won’t be surprised the missing trailer in SDCC was kept for this event. Bob Iger wants some exclusivity I guess.

J.J. said that the next trailer will be coming this fall. So they surely won’t show a new trailer at D23, but they may show a clip from the movie.

Well, since the release of “summer” movies begins in May (sometimes April), maybe “Fall” to filmmakers means August. Heehee. We can only hope!

The toys are hitting shelves on September 4th. You really think there won’t be a clear look at the film in a full trailer before that Friday? I mean lucasfilm is making a big deal about this day for releaseing the bulk of their merchandise.

This is the last opportunity we will get to see toys on a major stage before September 4th, I expect to see reveals from Lego and Hasbro.

I think the most you might get out of KHIII as far as Star Wars goes is a hidden Darth Vader boss battle.

I would like to know what the Star Wars games are that BioWare and Visceral Games are working on.

    • July 14, 2015 at 4:21 am
      Permalink

The Visceral Games project is like Uncharted and is almost certainly going to star Han Solo. You can put good money on that.

BioWare might just be doing TOR expansions for a while. I feel like they said that they will be doing something outside of that, though – but not for a good while.

Excuse my lack of knowledge but what exactly is Uncharted? Is it something that is currently out in the market and Star Wars related?

Regarding TOR: has that been officially declared as canon, or is it still Legends?

        • July 14, 2015 at 10:07 am

for what I know, uncharted is a videogame not related to SW

        • July 14, 2015 at 2:31 pm
          Permalink

It’s a completely unrelated game, but they are talking about the gameplay being akin to Uncharted. Uncharted is a story driven action-adventure game in third-person perspective by Naughty Dog who also did the Jak Trilogy (one of my favorites on PS2). I am hoping for something along the lines of Uncharted and maybe Red Dead Redemption for this game. I’d love to have the option of focusing on missions to further the story along or to just hang out in a cantina and play some Sabaac if I want to.

Currently everything is Legends unless specifically stated to be otherwise, as clone wars was. So technically it is legends, but I have a feeling the ambiguity there is not accidental in case lucasfilm did ever decide to fold it into the canon universe.

I can’t wait for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation to hit theaters!!!… So I can finally get some news on Rogue One. MI is going to do terrible anyway. The fact that they went as far as to make that deal over the marketing just goes to show that that studio has little confidence in the film. Anyone who mixes the two films up doesn’t care enough to see either of them anyway.

Hoping for a theatrical trailer but if not that at least a finalized poster would be awesome! Give me something to hang on my wall next to my Rotj poster
