Fantastic example of what Star Wars is and can be.

I thought it was really creepy/cool how Kanan sensed Luminara and it turned out to be her bones that he was sensing..

Shows that certain relics can used to evoke spirits. Was it the Inquisitor that made the ghost appear? It simply could not have been a hologram? or was it? Im leaning toward it being some kind of Sith trick. In CW, Sidious and Dooku used a similar type trickery to break Yoda through the connection of the force.

Sure made Yoda seem like an incompetent old fossil.
Shouldve probably been funny. Honestly spoofing Star Wars isnt funny, rather a sorry excuse for a cheap joke.
At least thats the general feedback i got.

Well the tide was turning in favor of the Sith or ‘Bad Force users’ around this time. To the credit of the Jedi, it did take numerous traps to finally defeat them. Yoda and Obi Wan were never technically captured. The Sith are master deceivers and liars. They can do mind tricks too. Its nice to see the spooky/creepy nature of their trickery. The scene with Luminara is like something from a weird nightmare that everyone has had at one point or another.

I think Luke will sense Vader’s presence from his bones being dug up or something at some point in ep7. Just an idea, may or may not happen.

On that originals video: When the dude explaining lightsabers for the show, he says anyone can pick up a lightsaber. While this technically may be true, Obi Wan does say in ep4 that “This is the weapon of a jedi knight” so….. is it more than just a jedi’s weapon now? Lol

The only reason I worry about this is because they could totally overuse the lightsaber a lot, which would be annoying. Not like anyone asked for my opinion, but there ya go (:

Why does everyone complain about overusing the lightsaber? Frankly, I’m getting sick of these movies/cartoons overusing the blaster.

Seems that ‘laser swords’ have been around much longer in the SW universe. It became the official “weapon of the Jedi” and I’m sure they perfected the use and the science of it. Radiating Force Energy through it and achieving a singularity with it as well. Im sure anyone can cause damage with it though.

^ Apparently, anybody and everybody can wield a lightsaber now… I mean, laser sword.

I really enjoyed the episode. I’m glad they aren’t shying away from darker themes/elements. Hopefully they keep this up.

This was a great episode! I really do like the Inquisitor’s lightsaber. It adds a creative feel to the new villain. Can’t wait for the next episode!

The makers of this show worship McQuarrie so much they didn’t even have the decency to say “lightsaber.”

“light sword” or whatever the hell Kanan said.

This is the first decent episode I’ve seen so far, even though Kanan’s constant quoting of Yoda, the mynock-like flying things, and the fact that they escaped Inquisitor from a locked room were highly annoying.

Inquisitor is so powerful and smart… and yet he can’t even catch a kid.

Dumb script-writing, like everything else I’ve seen in Rebels thus far.

    I. Want. Episode. VII. Now.

This can be as childish as it wants to be.. If this means they are going to sell lots of toys to the kids then cool. Rebels for the kids and to sell toys. Episode 7 for the grown ups ..dark , gritty and impassioned. This way Disney wins by selling toys and us olduns get a more adult Star Wars. Lets hope

Please tell me they are not replacing light saber with laser sword. when I heard that I lost respect for rebels…and man I hope the force gets strong with the jedi again. like in the clone wars. they are like 3rd world abilities
