@slashfilm One helicopter crashed on a glacier. The crew was fine, but the chopper was wrecked. Unlucky start for SW.

@slashfilm hmm. Try this: http://t.co/Wi25GzO8QCThere aren’t any pictures of the wreck, anyway. Prod. co. kept a tight lid on things.

May the fjords be with them.

How often do you crash a helicopter into a glacier and walk away fine?

I myself have only done it three times.

So it is not dangerous. Nothing extra. No problem…

Truth is they already made Episodes 7,8 and 9, and all this is just a cover-up for the mass-alien landing of this year in Abu-Dhabi, Iceland, Morocco and Iceland. They’ll tell us that it’s just Special Effects.
That’s why they said they won’t use CGI.
    Trust me.

Bring out the neuralyzer in case some of the extras saw something they were not supposed to see.

And the “helicopter crash” is then an obvious cover-up for a Roswell style event.

An AT AT foot and now they go beyond the Wall…what can it mean? That AT AT Walkers will bring the Wall down? That we’re facing a return to Hoth AND Tatooine? Could HOTH be the place Luke Skywalker hides out and trains Jedi because he liked it so much there the first time around?
Or will we see another planet with snowy landscapes? Alderaan Regained?
    Spoil me pls

I’m putting my money on Iceland being one of the locations used for the Sith homeworld. Lots of bleak landscape and volcanic activity. Sounds Sith to me.

I hope the Sith homeworld looks like the Candy Kingdom in Adventure Time.

Saw it happen live once on Mt. Hood. It was only hovering about 20 feet in the air. The few guys in the helicopter waited until it was obvious which way it was going to tip. Doors were open on both sides. They kind of got lucky and all jumped out as the heli went the other way. Happened fast and like I said, there had to be some luck involved. Maybe it’s all about the pilots decisions when he (or she) is faced with the situation….everyone escaping fine.

It could be a return to hoth, but that was filmed in norway., so could be another frozen world in Iceland. There was an ice world in the early clone wars seasons with the hairy talz, long shot though.

The pic in the twitter feed looks like it could be Alderaan, but that planet got blown up in episode IV right?

It means folks Hoth! Is back… Just like in the games… Maybe the helicopter was flying and they were filming a snow speeders view. The base would be still there and the Rebels could have reopened it after the second Death Star was destroyed…;)

Pretty negative way to look at it, I say a helicopter crashes and no one gets hurt is a LUCKY way for the SW production to start. Geeze Louise!

Indeed! And let’s not forget the sandstorms that happened in the beginning of filming A New Hope and The Phantom Menace. I say this is a good start of the new trilogy. 🙂
