‘Star Wars’ April 2024 Comics Preview: New Series Debuts, Lando Seeks Help From Vader, and More
April comic solicitations have arrived. On the surface, it seems like a quiet month of Star Wars comics, but there’s still plenty to glom onto if you look hard enough. Darth Maul is back in his own Black, White & Red miniseries. Monster hunter Ty Yorrick returns in Dark Horse’s Saber for Hire miniseries, which seems poised to play a crucial role in the High Republic Jedi’s fight against the Nameless. The trial of Lando Calrissian continues, and it looks like he needs help… from Darth Vader? And what in the world is Tey Sirrek doing on the cover of The High Republic #6?
Before we get going, here are a few recent things in the galaxy of Star Wars comics you may have missed:
- Star Wars: Visions – Takaski Okazaki #1 was pushed back from February 28 to March 20

Now, looking ahead to April, check with your local comic book shop on what pre-order options they have available (or you can be boring and choose digital). You can visit here for a refresher on what else is coming from Star Wars comics. As a reminder, the very nature of comic solicitations is spoiler-filled, so be aware before going forward. For the collectors in the crowd, there appear to be “master and apprentice” variant covers from Giuseppe Camuncoli on the way. They have yet to be revealed, but keep your eyes peeled.
