‘Ahsoka’: Grand Admiral Thrawn, Ezra Bridger, Captain Enoch, and Nightsisters Character Posters Revealed

The sixth episode of Ahsoka came filled with plenty of anticipated reveals and live-action character debuts. Directed by Jennifer Getzinger and written by Dave Filoni, “Far, Far Away” finally fulfilled the premise of the show, with our main characters finding both Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger on Peridea. Now, the two of them, along with instant fan-favorite Captain Enoch and the three Nightsisters, command their own character posters.

Lars Mikkelsen voiced the Grand Admiral in Star Wars: Rebels, where the character from the Heir to the Empire novels made his canon debut, and has now transitioned into the live-action realm as the blue-faced military strategist. He was confirmed to do so back at Star Wars Celebration 2023, where a few frames from Part Six were included in an extended trailer to show fans a first look at the character. Eman Esfandi didn’t get his own grand entrance and was instead confirmed to appear in the show via a press release attached with the first trailer at Celebration, where footage from his hologram message from the first episode was included. But Lucasfilm was saving his current look for a reveal in the last episode, and it probably paid off. Check out their character posters below:

Wes Chatham was reported earlier this year to be appearing in Ahsoka as Captain Enoch, Thrawn’s right-hand man. Whether he’s a man or a resurrected corpse, we still don’t know, but one thing is clear — social media was immediately obsessed with his Gladiator-like mask. Part Six also featured the live-action debut of the Nightsisters, the mysterious characters who had plenty of appearances in The Clone Wars, even bringing Darth Maul back to life at one point on the planet Dathomir. They also played a role in the Star Wars: Jedi games. Ahsoka has now confirmed they actually come from a different galaxy; the three we’ve seen so far, aside from Morgan Elsbeth, are played by Claudia Black, Jeryl Prescott Gallien, and Jane Edwina Seymour. Ahsoka returns next Tuesday night with Part Seven, from director Geeta Vasant Patel, where we’ll see Ahsoka confronting Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Nightsisters on Peridea, as well as the team-up between Baylan, Shin, and the samurai-like marauders against Sabine, Ezra, and the Noti. Diana Lee Inosanto, who plays Morgan Elsbeth, has already teased another fight between her character and Ahsoka that will outdo the one we saw in The Mandalorian.

One of the best parts about the latest episode was revisiting a Dave Filoni moment from Star Wars Celebration 2022, where he clearly wanted to set the record straight: Ezra is far, far away. At the time, production of Ahsoka was already underway, and though we didn’t really understand the reference at the time, Filoni was of course previewing the title of the episode where Ezra would return:
