‘Star Wars: The High Republic: Shadows of Starlight’ Comic Miniseries Bridges The Gap Between Phases 1 and 3

Lucasfilm announced on their YouTube channel that Charles Soule will be writing a four-issue comic miniseries for The High Republic called Shadows of Starlight.

The miniseries will bridge the gap between Phase 1 and Phase 3 of The High Republic. With Phase 2 acting as a prequel to Phase 1, fans have been waiting for a while to find out how the Jedi and the Republic will react to the shocking events of The Fallen Star, which saw the Nihil get a tragic win over the Jedi and some beloved characters dealt a merciless end.

The gap between phases 1 and 3 of The High Republic spans a single year, which is when Shadows of Starlight will take place. We’ll get to reunite with Avar Kriss, Elzar Mann and Bell Zettifarwhen the first issue lands in October, a month before Phase 3 officially begins in November.

Phase 2 will end later this month when the current run of The High Republic Adventures comes to an end. With any luck, Shadows of Starlight will also tell us if Burryaga is still alive, but I’m not going to hold my breath on that one.
